Thunderbolts, finally. Come on Death's Head!

Also "Never Strikes Twice" is where that tagline is heading, right.

What gets me about that Justice League image is the damn sandstorm they felt that shot needed.

Nothing is grittier than just throwing a bunch of straight up sand into your shot

There is like a negative chance of the movie Justice League having the watchtower, right

Cause it's "nerd shit" or something like that?
Nah, an orbital space station seems totally plausible to me

I would say the same thing about having Martian Manhunter in it, but welp
    I mean

One is a thing we actually, y'know, have in real life albeit to a way less fancy degree

Hey now, we also have Space Stations :rotate:

    you'd think

it's a riff on the old 'justice like lightning' thunderbolts tagline, which was a metaphor that never felt entirely fleshed out. This version seems better

hold your head high soldier, it ain't over yet
that's why we call it the struggle, you're supposed to sweat

It just means that there Thunderbolts would never stop the same crime twice

It's like double jeopardy but for superheroes

Like I said earlier, if the League themselves was well-saturated and the light behind them was bright, like they were breaking through the storm, it would be awesome. Instead they're mired in it and it's terrible.

This is apparently spinning out of Standoff and the final cover of that event features a butt ton of villains so I'm guessing it is Nick Spencer on a big villain book since he masterminded the crossover and has experience writing bad guy books

Also of note is that cover is VERY close to the original Thunderbolts cover, with the exception of where Citizen V was orginally (and the new flying kid, of course)

i will be honest i will always find the silhouette cover art gimmick to be tiresome and boring

i know it's a thing in comics and has been for a long time but i think it's beyond lame

I'll say it again; those All-New Marvel Now teasers where it was just a word and then a creative team were some of my favorite teasers of all time.

I kinda wish they had done them for ANAD Marvel.

Well part of that is because they had a whole bunch of great talent simultaneously, and some of that has now left.

It's tough since they are all smushed together and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of villains for redesigns since they don't as often as heroes

But I would bet at least one cast member from Superior Foes is in it. I would say Beetle but she seems like she might be a recurring character in Ant-Man?

Not a theory I came up with, but maybe Beetle is the new Wasp?

Well MachVIII at least seems to be there and he's in Superior Foes.

Here's the original cover. Mach Whatever, Atlas and Fixer look almost identical, Songbird is replaced by that new kid (Which makes sense given she's on the New Avengers), Moonstone looks similar though there's some outline differences I noticed. Citizen V is totally different, if not replaced.

Guessing the only reason for the outline difference for Moonstone is her newer costume, she doesn't usually have the spiky bits anymore.

I think it's older. The original is a clip from like a 2-hour span of two guys on drugs watching Pokemon, IIRC. It goes on for a lonnggggg time, and they are definitely not trying to be witty.

He's not replacing Sam though but getting his own title. Here's the first, very small look at the cover.
