I mean... they're all bad guys, but is he the big, bad that the Squad is put together to stop? Because that might be the best way to use the Joker in that movie.
Other than, you know, not using him.
I can see that or him totally being the catalyst that shows up and throws their team into chaos

That was pretty much the style of Assault on Arkham
Because I can't help myself I'm going to start reading IIM in singles starting with issue 6, mostly because it's obvious the book will be a big time Civil War 2 tie in.
I might get Captain Marvel's title monthly as well.
I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU!!!

How lost will I be if I start reading IIM at issue 6?
So far it's primarily been Madame Masque stuff and general character set-up. There's [REDACTED] in particular that will probably have you scratching your head, but they've yet to reveal anything definitive about him. And you'd miss out on the set-up with Tony's new girlfriend and MJ working for Stark.
Probably not a big loss, but the first five issues so far have pretty good.
+1

It's connected to the weird ass planet they are on in AoS, because that's one of the main guesses for that planet also
I'm just hoping it's a sign we're going to explore the "bizarre cosmic entities" side of Marvel in GotG2. Gunn has said before that he'd like to deal with that stuff in a sequel, and he foreshadowed plenty of it in the first movie.

Nothing will tie into AoS
AoS is the kids table
It can be moderately enjoyed on its own merits but it is as relevant to the MCU as a whole as some guy's well-written fanfic
At least the Netflix shows are carving their own little niche for themselves and will be relevant to each other and will crossover with each other and stuff.
AoS just plays with the action figures that nobody else is using and gets to say "technically it doesn't contradict canon!"
The latest issue of that also confirmed she's still lawyering between crimes.
Considering her identity is pretty much public these days, that says impressive things about her abilities in court as compared to her general supervillaining talent.

Yeah, yeah, I know
That was pretty much the style of Assault on Arkham
Which, for its flaws, is a pretty solid flick
Dang, why is Moonstone wearing that ugly old Bagley design?
They're keeping that under wraps so that the movie can have some surprises in it.
A man can dream
Didn't he show up in Superior Foes not too long ago?
He totally did, didn't he. Huh.
This is pages old but this is my new favorite band name
