wow no kidding that one cheers theme song line really comes out of left field
I could almost hear a loud thump from how jarring getting hit by that line is
The 80s and 90s are already like the 50s in how you can be sitting back relaxing with an old classic and all of a sudden BRUTAL CASUAL INTOLERANCE okay back to good times
Oh. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I just read the full lyrics.

Hey, if any more of those Giant Bomb tv show credit sequences get made, I highly reccomend the top rated CBS property NCIS. The way its opening credits work would be great for Giant Bomb inserts.
everyone, try not to explode when brad shoemaker argues that super mario maker isn't a game while saying that destiny the taken king should count as a new game out of both sides of his mouth

All I'm hoping for is a good solid Jeff rant. I love me some Jeff Rants

I skip GB episodes here and there so, why does Brad think Super Mario Maker isn't a game? I mean kind of obviously seems part game maker part game to me.

because brad is a contrarian ass
I mean, for sure (also why I find him to be entertaining on a podcast) but did he have any specific reasons/arguments as to why?

Taking a look
Which season?
They are all very similar but obviously the newest ones will be the best looking visually considering how long the show has been on.
Brad likes structure to his games, and it's clear he dosen't think Mario Maker should be the game of the year.
See I can dig that, not liking it because it doesn't play the way you enjoy. Saying it isn't a game just seems weird to me. I guess we'll hear his specific arguments soon enough.
Like, I didn't like MGSV at all because it lacked structure, especially compared to previous MGS games. Heck it's why I don't like open world games in general. But I'm not gonna call them "not games" for that.

Also you should totally leave Mark Harmon in there considering his numerous mentions on the bombcast.

Timspork apropos of nothing I've been staring down the barrel of getting into WW2 reenacting because there are some pretty good groups in my area but man there is a lot of money involved in getting started.

It is nothing. NOTHING I SAY compared to the price of War of 1812. Hell. WW2 Russian can be done for a bit more than $200.

Oh I bet it's cheap in comparison. Part of me would love to do Napoleonic stuff but the groups just don't seem to exist in my area. I'd probably go for airborne based on what groups exist in my area which is maybe what makes it seem costly. But I'm sure it's still cheaper than other reenactment stuff.

haha he can't be a nanny cause he's male
the most recent we hate movies, about bill and ted's bogus journey, goes on at length about how staggering it is to watch an otherwise squeaky clean movie but then just have a homophobic slur pop up out of nowhere, not once, but three times

All we know is that during a recent Bombcast someone was talking about Mario Maker (so Jeff or Dan) and Brad says "is it really a game though?" then pretty quickly cut himself off and said he'd save that for GOTY.
arguing that something "isn't a game" is a very quick way to make be hate your fucking guts, because it's only ever used a tool to dismiss something you don't like

Hey Arnold:
A Christmas episode that could've been done easily if Arnold and Gerald looked in a phone book for the only other Hyunh.
I'm going to go ahead and count this as a listener question because I kinda want to talk about that one a little
edit:
I could almost hear a loud thump from how jarring getting hit by that line is
You mean the one you thought your audio was messed up so it sounded like I was taking about Red Green with a ghost only I could hear?

I'm not making any promises
Look it's Witcher 3 at #1 for me or riot.
And yeah brad was kinda annoying with the destiny stuff but he's still fun to listen to imo
