Bluetooth Headset on PC - Microphone output far too quiet?

Hi -
My old headset stopped working and I figured I could go for a bluetooth headset which I can also use with my cellphone. I bought a Logitech Mobile Express headset and a Dlink DBT-122 USB-Bluetooth adapter. Now, the bluetooth connection is working, the headset is recognised by the dlink adapter and I can choose it as an audio device. The speaker is working fine, but the micophone output is not audible ... I set it to the maximum output, but still can't hear shit, and there is no possibility to activate the 20db boost I have with a normal microphone. For example, when I call the skype testuser "echo123" I can only hear my own voice barely when I seet my speakers to max.
I have an Intel DQ965FG motherboard with the onboard sound activated (sigmatel, newest drivers). Would this problem go away if I buy another soundcard, a terratec for 20 € for example? Or is there another solution to this problem?
I know for sure the microphone is working, as it shows no problems when used with my razr.

Have you tried seeing if there are any newer drivers for the bluetooth adaptor?

Sorry for not answering earlier, but the drivers are the newest available.
