Talos Principle is great and I quite enjoy the lore that you discover as you progress. The DLC is even better in this regard, and its ending is fantastic.
Yeah, I've played a bit of Mad Max and it seems alright. Also Chumbucket is pretty great.
I like Mad Max but it seems like a game I should like way more than I do
It doesn't help that some of the side stuff is super lame. Those fucking balloons, man, what a bunch of dumb busywork
Yeah, the balloons are dumb. Also I found one that needed fuel but I couldn't find a way to refuel it. I found a fuel can and dragged it over to the generator, but never got a prompt to refuel it or anything!
Yeah, it is real gorgeous to look at. And I feel like the driving is pretty great, although I can't wait to get more upgrades for the damn car.
That's going to be held off for a while, though, since my living room is currently disassembled, and with it my computer is packed away for the next while.
Actually I'm a bit burnt out on open world stuff lately, so maybe Mad Max isn't a good idea.
Oh yeah do not get it then
It is the most Open World Game-ass Open World Game I have played in a while
Yeah, occasionally I feel like playing Shadow of Mordor again, because there's some inherently satisfying things about that game's progression and movement and combat and such
I'll probably never go back to Mad Max except when a new Mad Max movie comes out
So if I've never played Just Cause 2, I should probably fix that since can fix that for 3$?
Yuuuuup
also it's in the current Humble Square-Enix Bundle that started today along with all the DLC and JC 1 as beat-the-average games.
FFXIV (comes with one month of gameplay), JC2+DLC, Life Is Strange part 1, and Murdered for $5 is probably a good deal. I'm guessing that we'll get another episode of Life Is Strange as a beat the average game, as well.

reminder that in soul suspect, you posses a cat and get a meow button that is functionally useless
Good news, I get to fill out my son's Steam library with things that will run on his new laptop. Bad news is that I can't actually add them to his steam before Friday, or else he'll see the e-mails and the cat will be out of the bag.
@Inquisitor I believe that if you buy Horizons it comes with the base game, so there's no point in just buying the base game if you want to get planetary. I think.
Okay, people, I've got lots of keys to give away. Please PM me if you want any of the following:
The Last Remnant
Life is Strange: Episode 1
Tomb Raider 3
Tomb Raider (2013) GOTY Edition
Hitman Absolution
Murdered: Soul Suspect
Front Mission Evolved Gyromancer
Yosumin
Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
The Just Cause Collection
Actually I'm a bit burnt out on open world stuff lately, so maybe Mad Max isn't a good idea.
By contrast, I've been playing a lot of Skyrim lately with the express purpose of getting around to big quests when I damn well please and not a minute before. I just need to remind myself to avoid creating mods for it like I did for New Vegas. That rabbit hole went deep and I only remember some sort of general fugue state of work and gaming for several weeks.

Glad I don't have to hunt sales.
you could also buy them on your account as gifts to send later, then they go to your inventory and you can send them as gifts at the appropriate time.

Looks like someone wanted to play Realm Reborn.
Oh shit, I forgot about that one.
I've got FFXIV: A Realm Reborn, as well!
Oh, I wish I had free time for that game. Sadly I know it would consume me if I tried.

My cousin got me Dying Light
Yo this game is pretty good
I think the soundtrack is great too! It sets a perfect tone
I finished Life is Strange a few days ago. Fuck. Ffffffffuck. I don't think a game has ever affected me that much. The last episode had some issues, but that ending more than made up for it. Well, one of the endings. I watched the other one afterwards and it was...a tad uninspired.
Everytime you learn a new build trick, like proper multi wheel steering, or how to adjust metrics or proper flight balance, it will eat another 5-10 hours from you
Remember The Incredible Machine? This is that, only new.

I think I'm being turned around on Aviary Attorney again. I started out really liking it, but as I've gotten further into it, it's way less forgiving than Ace Attorney is. There's evidence that you basically only have one shot at finding and if you don't have it when it's needed, you're asked to pick what you already know is the wrong evidence three times and then you're given the bad ending to that case. There's something to be said for being more of a game and less of a visual novel than Ace Attorney, but this just kinda feels too thinly implemented.
And then the game moves on and that's neat, except it's apparently an Early Access game that's just not listed as one? I got to a part of the game where I was supposed to have at least a case left and a screen came up saying "This part of the game isn't finished yet, check back again in a few days". That seems like something you'd want to mention to people buying it.
It's funny, still, the story is interesting, it just makes a really strong early impression and then doesn't quite nail the landing.

it was actually a really good game that just kinda lacked a bit of polish
if you liked lord of the rings, it's that only with guns and more to do minus the nemesis system
also the bad guy is named Scrotus
Well now I can't play it, because that's what I usually name my main character ! :rotate:

It is a perfectly competent game it just does absolutely nothing new in the open world genre and suffers from a lot of its faults as a result
Like, god damn
And it can run smooth on damn near anything

Wait was it actually possible to get to those secret areas in AHL? I always figured they were in there to fuck with people in spectator mode.
Yeah, I remember getting quite a ways into one of them before.

But is there a point in getting it without the expansion that is $60?
@Tube probably knows the right answer.
