    I believe Pillars of Eternity is a good or even great game, and yet I took a months-long break from it in the middle, then came back to it, then am on another months-long break from it (although the second time it was because I liked it a lot but saw what I thought was the point of no return and didn't want it to be over). Still, if it were so great, I'd probably finish it...

    it's probably bioware's most unfairly overlooked game. The combat is fun (if simple) and the story is terrific.

    I picked it up on a sale a couple years back.

    It's not for everyone unfortunately. :( I really want to love it but just found it aggravating.

    I loved the "open palm" and "closed fist" morality system. That's the right way to do morality in that setting (much like Paragon/Renegade in Mass Effect).
