Am I the only one concerned with the safety of making a slide on the side of a mountain?
(I'm a worry wart)
Edit:
Though 10-year-old me thinks it sounds awesome, too!
I'm just wondering about the adults who thought, "oh yeah, let's throw some tarps down on this mountain and send kids careening into the lake."
I dunno about you, but that sounds like a good time to me. Weed out the weak ones that don't want to go haphazardly careening down a set of tarps into a lake.
Don't worry, I have no plans on being a camp counselor at any point in my life.
So you spent a solid week getting sleep-deprived and contracting Lyme disease, culminating in missing the ONE THING that was making it all worthwhile...
But the upside of it is that you discovered you have an inherent medical condition that means you not only miss the slide this time, but also can never, ever go on it in your life?

I'm so glad campfire stories are back.
Should I feel sad I don't have a horror story to submit? probably not :P
Delicious. More, please.

Your parents better have made that up to you.
