So the Sox are playing the Rays the day before the show starts. It's a day game with a 1:35 start time. Anyone interested in checking out Fenway Park? I know I am.

I might be interested in this Thursday game against the Rays, but it's going to be based on A) When we arrive in Boston on Thursday and How many of my 7 friends want to go. I'll keep an eye on this thread to see if a group does develop, though. We were thinking of doing a tour of Fenway but I'd rather go to a game if we're able to.

I am a monster truck that walks like a man.
Wear my Yankees hat every time I go to Fenway, am never disappointed. Snuck that thing on field when doing the anthem once.
I used to work at BU right around the corner from the park. There are a bunch of bars in the area - the easiest ones near/on Yawkey Way are Boston Beer Works, Game On, and the Cask'n'Flagon - but they'll all be crowded on game days, even for a 1:35pm game. The Yard House is about 5 mins up the road and is another option, but tends to be a little pricier. There's also a dive bar in Kenmore Square (~5 mins away) called Cornwall's, which is a cheaper option and is usually not too crowded.
The Pour house near Hynes isn't that bad either. a few blocks more of a walk though
