I'll spend it buried in a hole in western Massachusetts.
Also for those following along at home, my package delivery dramas continue. Today FedEx failed to deliver an order from Amazon to my apartment, because the "business was closed".
What is it about the holidays that makes delivery companies shit the bed with the lights on?

FedEx did that exact thing to me yesterday! They seriously have fucked up delivering every single package I've gotten in the two years I've lived in my (soon to be former) apartment.
1) Remembered the Alamo with @Lost Salient and @Aphostile and met a whole bunch of other folks at PAX South
2) Went to South Korea, met up with my best friend
3) Both my remaining grandparents died
4) Got laid off
5) As seems to be the theme of the thread, met @tynic
6) Went to Prime, met up with a whole bunch of other folks for the first time (too many to name but I remember tynic again, @Cello, and @Zonugal) and somehow I have walked extensively around two different cities this year with Aphostile that aren't the one we both live in
7) Got a new job
8) Other stuff that may be elaborated on later?
My cousin faked liver cancer and kidney failure and now doesn't talk to the family, I met my boyfriend, my best friend got married and it is not necessarily a good thing, I switched jobs, my dad had a TIA, I fucked up my ankle, my mom had cancer, my last remaining grandparent died, and I did not meet tynic.
Glad I met my boyfriend, and the new job's not awful. Otherwise, I've had better years.
I started an Etsy shop for jewelry as an exercise to stop worrying about my portfolio, and sold a handful of things
I stayed in the same apartment for a 2nd year for the first time in my adult life
I got a promotion and a raise
I finally got the title and main job of "concept artist"
I bought a new car!
My boyfriend and I broke up, but amicably
I learned a lot about myself as an artist
I became good friends with some coworkers and it's been great
I stopped all communication with a poisonous family member and it's been great
I saw an ex for the first time in ~5 years and he apologized profusely to me, which was completely unexpected but really great
I improved as an artist, tried some new things, got some e-recognition from people I really admire and had to learn how to handle that
Hosted my 3rd Friendsgiving and roasted a giant turkey, was a huge success
Decided on some solid goals for 2016
but maybe, most importantly
I met tynic. A few times! She made us delicious food and then we managed to make a bizarre eggnog that tasted pretty good, to our great surprise.
Got a job at the comic shop ive been going to since I was a babby after quitting a soul crushing awful job
Went to my first and hopefully not last EVO, seeing my dad for the first time in like 5+ years in the process
Enjoyed my best friend getting married
Found some really nice pieces/finished some things for my mint in box games collection
I mean I'm still suck in central MA now living on a deathslope of a hill that I found out this week I can't actually ascend in anything resembling winter weather, other than that good year?
Oh and I met an awesome lady I guess thats cool too
I went sledding for the first time in 20 years, that was good
transitioned to full time, that was good
then got subjected to so much bleach and star wars fanfiction at said job, that wasn't so good
didn't have to work the summer and did lots of running and swimming, that was good
could have spent way more time on art, that wasn't so good
played video games, that could go either way
still single as fuck, that wasn't so good
still haven't thrown up or had a cavity, that was good
2015 was largely the same as 2014 and 2013 and 2012 etc etc etc except that I realized I was a woman and also fell in love for the first time with an amazing woman ( @The Betgirl ) so uh actually it wasn't like those other years and is instead SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER?????
There's so much work to do in 2016 though and if I can pull it all off it'll be actually life-changing in hugely significant ways. I'm terrified and excited and terrified and terrified. But the rewards are just too big, too important, not to try to get everything done.
I got to do one of my wrestling dreams by going to both Wrestlemania and the post-Mania Raw, and it ended up being one of the best ones so I really lucked out on that.
Also school has gone really well.
Gonna go get drunk tomorrow night with some work friends which should be a nice change of pace from my more usual fancy New Years plans.

we got pregnant and I've spent the majority of 2015 in this state. which is not the greatest state of existence t be in, but will be worth it.
My best friend had her little one and he's adorable and amazing and just fantastic.
Health has been really good, work has been increasingly irritating and frustrating and UGH stabby things. But I got an impressive raise and lots of recognition, which I guess is good, but i'd still rather have things not suck.
and yeah. We've paid a decent amount off of our mortgage, spent lots of quality time together and just been happy.
2016 is going to be a whole new experience! this was our last year of being Double income, no kids.
I am not allowed to acknowledge today as NYE, as it is my gfs birthday, and i am forcing everyone else to only acknowledge it as her birthday, as shes never gotten just a birthday.

Shit, where do we get samples of Tide?

I do find it sad at work they lock up the tide with those zip alarm tags
