Yep, what Shoebox said. Kill streaks with it equipped give extra completion, getting killed while it is equipped makes you lose 2%? I can't remember right off hand as its been awhile since I did it.

•You do not have to get kills with TLW (it just has to be equipped), You can use supers, grenades, heavy weapons and special weapons.
•Normal Kills grant you 1%
•Headshot Kills grant you 2%
•Death will lose you 2%
•Killstreaks lead to bonus points.
•You need 100% to complete this part of the quest.
•My advice is to utilize supers, heavy and special ammo. Play it safe, hang back then charge in with heavy/super.
•Play objective based games, so people aren't only focusing on killing you.
I personally had a lot of success in mayhem clash. Hang back until you have super then go get a kill streak. Then rinse and repeat. If you choose a multi kill super like sunbreaker, storm caller etc you will normally get more completion from the kill streak and offset any deaths you have. Think I finished the whole thing in a couple hours.

A few highlights from this weekend. Overall I'd say I enjoyed Memento as the map this week.
The Last Word is an exceptional gun now (post-Weapons Balance), so "cheesing" The Chaperone quest is probably a lot less fun and not much easier than just shooting people with TLW.
Xbox side, anybody for Court of Oryx or HM Sabre strike, sword quest shenanigans or even some pvp?
I've got a free evening and am probably just going to be bumming around on Destiny so if anybody finds themselves in need of a somebody to catch bullets with their face or pull an unreasonable amount of aggro then give me a shout. GT is Wraith134

I really wish the Trials shaders could just be bought, maybe by visiting the Lighthouse and buying then there or something
I still dont have a single Trials of Osiris shader and I've practically lost count of how many Flawless Victories we've had.
... At least up the drop rate or give a guaranteed shader if you make it to the Lighthouse for christs sake, the shaders are far more rare than the Adept Primaries.

Eugh, why do people have such a hard on for running directly into a group of enemies and immediately dying. You'd think they would learn after the last 5 times.
I like how something is so fucked up with the game at the moment that corpses will randomly float and hang in space on PvP maps that actually have gravity.
Not to mention how, last night, every time I killed someone with a charged Titan melee l would instantly die at the hands of the architects and get shot into space.
At least i've a 320 mida and ToM now but man I'd like a 320 pulse or scout rifle.
... I got a 320 Hand Cannon, 320 Scout Rifle and a 320 Pulse Rifle in the last 24 hours from HM Oryx Challenge Mode. (317 Pulse and 315 Hand Cannon too)

Yeesh. I need to get in on that challenge mode before the reset. That is some nutty ass loot.
I've gone flawless the last 8 weeks and haven't seen a primary above 316. This week was 310.
It's funny how RNG and the light system makes tiny amounts of progress feel like a big deal.
I finally got to 308 light from 307 after like a week. Best part is finally getting purple boots that are higher light than my blue boots. AND I got the boots from a blue engram.
Really though my eyes are sparkling looking toward the day when I get to 311 light and everything starts dropping in the final range.
Do you always get one from the nightfall if you haven't yet? Because then I'll just need that one the two I missed in regicide and the ones from the strikes then for someone to help me find the kings fall ones whenever I'm able to run that.
I'm a tiny sliver from 295 light too.

Any xboners need to do any Trials bounties tonight? I need to get some done on my hunter. I should be able to get on around or before 9 est.

Look, you honestly don't need to beat yourself up about not doing so well in some rounds. Nearly every game someone on the other side had gone to the lighthouse whereas that was what? Your first time in trials? It was only my third.
We crushed that team of 3 with lighthouse emblems all from the same clan.
I had some complete mares in some matches as well. My aim in trials is to get the quests done and play with some lovely people and that was all accomplished especially the latter.
Bonus points for getting 5 wins and people getting upgrades? Good times.

I had some complete mares in some matches as well. My aim in trials is to get the quests done and play with some lovely people and that was all accomplished especially the latter.

A shout out to @skyknyt for organizing a Challenge Mode Oryx kill. Took awhile to get things going but it worked out well. Also apparently I can run the ball without much issue on my Hunter. It would be nice if the damn vessel didn't keep ignoring Raze-Lighter hits but that wasn't really ever the issue that failed us.
Also feel like smoke should have some use but it never seemed to matter.

I gained 2 emblems, a spaceship, a 320 Pulse Rifle, a 303 Hand Cannon, a 310 (non-Harrowed) helmet, and a 315 MG.
It was worth struggling for houts on it
I do now have a Calcified Fragment on my Warlock that should've been on my Hunter, but hey, I've needed that self-res many MANY times...

Normally I'd jump on the chance for some Trials, but I don't think I'd do much good half-awake right now!
I also don't think I'm missing much with Memento as this week's map, and no need for this week's armor/weapon drops. Next week is probably gloves, so I'll definitely want to get a run or two for those. My warlock and hunter both need gloves to re-complete their Trials armor sets.

I really want to get in on the Trials action as soon as my life is no longer twist-turned and upside down.
I did pretty dang well in IB but I need to make sure I can play without interruption and without snubbing important people for a video game.
