Online Checking under 18

I need to get my paypal account verified, and so I've been looking to open a checking account online, will any reliable banks take applicants under 18 (im 17)

    Uh just go to a physical bank. After that all you need is a cheque to verify at Paypal. They shoulld all let you open an account. I think I made my first chequing account when I was twelve or so.

    Yeah I might just have to do that, just curious if I could apply online for any.

    Normally you have to have an adult on the account with you if you're under 18 to open a checking account.

    I'm looking at my bank I use, and it looks like it doesn't ask your age to apply for an account but it also takes 2-3 weeks for it to happen. I dunno if this is par for the course but compared to maybe an hour at an actual branch(maybe) I'd say go with the branch.

    Yeah 2-3 weeks seems kinda long, I think ill just pop in my local bank in the mornin.
