Found a pretty nice map that has different types of trees on it. Good for guild missions or if you just need a certain type of timber. https://imgur.com/gBM7n6J

Yes the trade missions aren't that great, especially since they don't really take into account the relative value of items from one place to the next... meaning you could potentially be trading at a loss to finish the quest.
It's better just to go somewhere, look up what they have in the ~90% (or lower) range, then see if you can make a profit.
Or even better, AFK fish. Last night I set my char fishing and woke up to a 330k profit!
Or even better, AFK fish. Last night I set my char fishing and woke up to a 330k profit!
If only they would stop taking the servers down every time I try :P
Edit:
Also regarding making money with trading, the profit margin matters a lot less than the base price of the item. Since your real limit is cart slots rather than capital, making a great profit margin with cheaper items will net you less profit / hour than a lower profit on more expensive items. Essentially, a large 50% profit on a 700 silver good is only 350 silver, while you only need a trivial 17% profit to match that with a 2000 silver item. And since you can't buy more of the former (as your stuck with 14 cart slots), you might as well go for the latter.

A few questions:
Is there every a plan to make a male equivalent to the Tamer?
When is NA slated to get the other classes currently in Korea?
None of the current class/gender combos appeal to me but the game looks interesting.
Oh since more people are getting into trading (hooray!), they might find this chart useful:
This is the distance trade bonus for each town, so if you buy trade goods in Velia and sell them in Heidel, you'll get an 8% price boost.
Something to note is that crafted trade packs will have the origin of wherever they were crafted, regardless of where the materials came from. Similarly, trade item coupons will gain the origin of the trader you turn them in at regardless of where the item normally is sold. So setting up crafting shops or turning in coupons in distant locations is a good way to maximize your bonus.

For Accuracy in PvE it basically just lets you "hit" mobs that are way higher level than you. It doesn't effect damage.
In PvP Accuracy and Evasion are the yin and yang. Stack Evasion and you'll be much harder to "hit" in PvP. Stack Accuracy and you can "hit" players more often. At least in the KR version. It's also worth noting that it is kind of broken as shit in that version as everyone stacks Evasion since not being able to be hit is much better than being able to hit. This upcoming big PvP patch on the KR side (and the same one we're getting in the next 2 weeks now?) comes with massive changes to PvP, Guild wars, and sieges. So we'll see. I think people are leaning towards removing Accuracy and Evasion since they don't add anything of value to the game.
edit- Though Accuracy for PvE is fine since it is there to prevent hordes of lowdies from tearing apart high level mobs like so many fire ants.
edit 2- Or to put it simply; as a normal player just leveling a character you really do not have to worry about Accuracy or Evasion.
Thanks for the info. I'll stick with my 18-22 bow then and not worry about accuracy stuff.

When is NA slated to get the other classes currently in Korea?
None of the current class/gender combos appeal to me but the game looks interesting.
1) The answer from Pearl Abyss is "probably not". Their reasoning is that it actually takes almost as much resources to create a male/female equivalent of an existing class as it does to just make a brand new class so they'd rather do that.
2) Daum (the EU/NA devs) haven't commented on it yet. RU and JP got Blader (and the Mediah update) about a month and a half after launch. From what I understand the RU version has caught up to the KR version in about a year after launch. I think the JP version is on the same track.

Darn Tamer def looked the coolest to me.
But Blader seems p cool too so maybe I'll check it out once they get there.
Thanks!

Well Ninja and Kunoichi are very similar to Tamer combat wise, minus the wolf-beast of course. In fact they use the same weapon as Tamers.

Yeah Bladers have long swords (Chinese style and katana style IIRC), short bows, and naginata for their Awakened weapon.
Tamers get a combat staff for their Awakened weapon. Which is very appealing to me.

As a PSA of sorts I'll quickly rundown PvP.
At level 50 loddy doddy everybody joins open world PvP.
However everyone has a "safety" that is on by default that prevents you from hurting random players while out hunting. So wizards/witches feel free to keep going ham.
Alt-c turns your safety off and all your attacks will hurt other players.
Your Karma determines your disposition. When you hit Alt-c your character's name will change color depending on your Karma. Green is really high Karma, Yellow is low positive or low negative Karma, Orange is negative Karma, and Red is homicidal maniac.
When you turn your safety off (alt-c) you still can't be randomly attacked by players who still have their safety on. Unless you are Red, then you're free game.
If you are minding your own business and get attacked by someone you can instantly fight back against that player without needing to turn your safety off. In fact you will only damage that player and don't need to worry about accidentally hitting innocents.
The second a PKer attacks another player anyone can attack the PKer without worry.
A PKer has to wait X amount of time before they can no longer be attacked by everyone. Any damage they do to another player resets the countdown.
If you get killed by another player you can spend your own Karma (provided you have positive Karma) to put a bounty on that player. Anyone who kills the target will receive the Karma you put up as the reward.
The scales weigh heavily against PKers in BDO. Not that it'd stop them all, so keep your eyes peeled. Vigilance is the best defense.
A Capellan's favorite sheath for any blade is your back.
Now I have to go look up "Awakened weapons" and see what this is about...
Though I'm now disappointed about the blader getting a naginata and not a spear. My hopes are dashed!
My understanding is that Plum, the female Blader, gets an actual stabby stabby spear.

And the freakin hand canon looks AMAZING. So much so I almost made a Berserker my main because of it =p.
Can't wait to see what Wiz gets, which is what I ended up maining.
Every class gets one and the weapon generally changes how the class is played.
That sounds like a terrible thing to have happen 50-something levels into playing a character...
I believe it's just an option, not a requirement. Sort of like GW2 subclasses.
Supposedly there are equal quality weapons for your original weapon type.
Granted this was people talking about the Korean version, but that seems to make the most sense so I hope that is the case.
A good example is Tamer. The beast kinda sucks in PvP. Most people just sac it for a stat buff, so the staff style is centered around not using the beast. So it doesn't have the beast combo attacks and such.
Which I'd only use in PvP, but it isn't like they require totally relearning a class.. Usually just varying up the focus.
Chipmunks are like nature's nipple clamps, I guess?

Pearl Abyss have stated that they won't add any new classes until all the current ones have their Awakened weapon. Which there are only four left. They also mentioned that a hypothetical new class may very well be one of the Shai.
Also current rumor for Witches is that they'll be getting a broom.

I'm was sad about the races in the game. My one big gripe. I always play races as far from human as possible. I'm super bummed I can't play as one of those weird badger looking races.

If it is any consolation they have said that going forward chances are real good any new class will probably not be human. Since this is a common request from players of all versions of the game. But they did leave themselves an out by saying that if they get a really good idea for a class and it just doesn't thematically fit with anything other than human then it'd be human.
Edit - oh and they've said any new class will come with a male/female equivalent like Warrior/Valkyrie, Ninja/Kunoichi, Blader/Plum, Wizard/Witch.

I'm gonna be honest, I've not seen someone from a KR video who wasn't using their Awakened weapon. It's sort of a thing you just use it seems, it becomes another part of the class. You don't suddenly lose access to all of your other skills/weapon, in fact switching between them is as simple as pressing C(or whatever other keybind you choose probably.)
Excepting that in GW2, the elite specializations are better than the core specs. Pretty much no matter what you're doing.
Hopefully awakening isn't like that.
Well no because gw2 is balanced by a team that's trash at balance.
BDO is pretty well balanced with a few outliers. I mean ignoring that gear tiers are pretty ridiculous but they never really claimed PvP would be some ultra esport tier experience so it's kind of nice that gear is useful.
So I'm pretty confident they'll do fine. I mean they've generally already have been doing fine but I'm sure they'll fix up anything that isn't.
What determines how much trade xp you get? It seems like I'm getting very little. Is there anything I can do to speed it up?
Embarrassingly, I don't know the actual formula, nor does there seem to be solid consensus online (in English anyway) since I've tried to find it several times. Some sources say its based on item turn ins + distance, others say item turn ins + profit. But distance and profit are linked so it's hard to say.
Unfortunately, it is pretty slow no matter what. However, upgrading to a farmer's cart was a very noticeable boost in exp gain, as I was able to trade twice the items per time. I am eager to upgrade to a 20 slot cart for another 50% boost to exp generation speed.

It's the rad wolf-beast that was a big part of the draw for me.
But light armored longsword combat is another thing I'm a big fan of that doesn't appear in a lot of games so Blader holds some real appeal too.
Does not compute

They won't be in for us for awhile yet.
The Awakend weapons are an (completely optional) alternative primary weapon that we'll get access to at 56(?) when they get added to our version.
Every class gets one and the weapon generally changes how the class is played.
Warriors get Greatswords and become less tanks and more damagey for instance.
Valkyries get Lances that allow them to attack from behind their shields.
Berserker get hand cannon gauntlets that let them punch-shoot stuff.
Sorceress gets a Scythe.
Tamers get combat staffs.
Rangers get elemental swords.
Not sure on Wizards, Witches, Ninja, or Kunoichi.
Ok cool. Just wanted to make sure it was like a "do this or be weaker" sorta thing.
Don't wanna pick the sword guy and find out if I play the game long enough "Whoops! I have to be a spear guy now!"
