So I've run into a weird thing and I'm sure whatever it is, it's a simple answer but I'm new and dumb. Wanted to try out this 'connecting nodes' or 'investing nodes' or whatever. I only have 1 Contribution point, so maybe that's the issue, but the way it's stopping me doesn't seem to be "you don't have enough points."
So talk to the node management dude in the little forest (let's call it node A) and it tells me I need to connect the previous node. OK, so I click that button to see the previous node and it's node B up the road a ways. So I go up there and talk to that dude and apparently I need to connect the previous node, which is node A?
Whaaaaa?
Also, when you do this and it gives you a path to a previous node, it also shines down a beam up light to all the other nodes that connect to it, which you have to have found already. I think. It only gives an auto path to a random one.
Almost done with horsey training. Regardless of the results I think I'm done for now though. Horse exp is mind numbing. I can at least enjoy fishing.
Yeah agree, I stopped for a while but since we got the autoloop feature it's easy to do it afk. If you want more "action" get into the sunflower business, you get huge distance bonus and the blue items can sell for some ingame $ plus trading goes naturally with training 4 horses with a merchant wagon.

You don't have to have found any of then actually. It's s good way of finding out where nodes and node managers are
Been playing for about two weeks and I'd love to get an invite to the guild, if possible, @Arthil . I'm in game as Lashok. Family name is Vissik. Thanks!
I'll hop on and get you in @msh1283 Where are you in game? I've got characters mostly in Velia and one in Heidel. Gotta know that cause the inviting has to be done in person :P
So after running 7 imp boss , 5 disco and 1 tree scroll and turning all the hunters mark into black stones it was upgrade time to get the
weapon from my tamer from +14 to +15.
RNG in this game not only hits you with a sledgehammer from time to time but sometimes it burns down your house too.
The weapon is still at +14 with all this failstacks but on the bright side I should have enough for accessories but with my luck... :P

When you collect fail stacks on multiple characters, are they added together?
I dunno what jewelery is supposed to fail up to, but I was trying to force up my failstacks to make the +1 fishing clothes, and I was succeeding EVERY jewelery combo I tried at 3. Including making a duo. They were useless pieces because I was buying the cheapest ones I could find. I finally just said fuck it and went into the clothes with only 3 failstacks. I succeeded that so whew.

Nope and most recommend to stop at 25 failstacks (max) with the +15 items we got. Jewelery has a higher chance to fail so it's much better
to use them with a high failstacks but even then it could be only 50:50 or worse.
This is the only list I know for weapons.
Here is a Video from a korean player in KR that explains it in english how to use failstacks etc.
Just FYI, I have to attend a security conference for the next few days so I am unlikely to be on much. Trying to get the game installed on my work laptop but it's unlikely to be able to handle much beyond just resting for energy and processing so I may be "online" but not online.

I played a lot at first, but haven't been on my computer much lately.
Hopefully I'll feel up to some gaming soon.

Looks like, come the release of Blader and Plum, they'll be giving everyone a new character slot and upping the max number of characters you can have from 9 to 10.
A Capellan's favorite sheath for any blade is your back.
I've been laying low till blader. Probably going to binge hard once it's released since I haven't really done much of the pve side of things.

Oh also, to the dismay of some of the more hardcore min/maxers out there, the stats you gain on level up are random. Which can lead to situations where someone of the same class has a very different HP and MP/WP amount.
In one hilarious, at least to me, example was a lvl 52 warrior who had 185 WP and whose lvl 50 warrior buddy had 265 WP.

Yeah I've been saving up Loyalty Points to get an additional character slot so that I'd be ready for Blader/Plum... not that I'm mad about it, because extra character slot yay! Plus I didn't spend the points yet, so once I know for sure that I get the extra slot for free, I can re-purpose the points.
On that note, I also have been laying low a bit in anticipation of the new class. I liked my Witch for awhile, but as mobs get tougher and seem to swarm more, I got a bit tired of being immobile every time I wanted to cast something. Not that it was super-hard or anything, it just started to feel a bit tedious. I'm still around, trying to level horses and maybe get a tier 6 at some point, but even when I've been on the guild chat has been noticeably quiet a lot of the time.

That's significant for a warrior... Did they have the same level of 'health'?
Especially since I went back to 2 taritas because of the +WP for endgame.

He didn't mention the health stats. I know health is also random as are all the hidden stats.
I know when I I was leveling up my Tamer I sometimes saw my health stat increase by 1 and sometimes by 20 and often everything in between.
I don't know if the minimum and maximum amount your stats can increase by, uh, increases as you level up or if it always works off the same potential pool of numbers.
A Capellan's favorite sheath for any blade is your back.
I also saw some mentioning that you get a bigger boost for post-50 levels, so it might turn out that the rng portion is totally arbitrary and stupid.
Basically, for a game with pvp as endgame, rng stats with a meaningful potential difference is stupid. A game with rng starts that aren't meaningful is also stupid, because then what's the point?
Koreans end up with odd design choices in their games. It's really of interesting to look at how games differ from country to country based on social climate.
Take a look at the steam survival game "Rust". http://store.steampowered.com/app/252490/ In that game you don't really get to chose much about your character at all - it's all decided for you, supposedly based on some background heuristics based on your steam name. HUGE BACKLASH!! (Especially among young white males that are completely butthurt that they are "forced" to play a non-white girl.)
The point is, whether it's decided programatically or purely randomly, control of how and what to develop on the character is taken out of the player's choice. Some would say that makes the game a "challenge" - you just have to play with whatever hand you are dealt and hope that you are skilled enough to amke up for any deficits. Others would say that makes the game "stupid" - without any control it is essentially a dice throw as to who wins or loses, and skill becomes a non-issue.
Really, though, the truth is somewhere in between.
@Arthil Alright, gonna hop into the guild if I can. Not totally settled on a class yet, but my understanding is that guild membership is by family? Bouncing between a few characters but they're all around Velia/Western Camp still.
Has there been any word on having a visa card processor based in the United States? Or know how easy it would be to remove international restrictions from a card for one day?

The thing about the randomized hp and resource stats, is there was another post asking for people to post their numbers. It seems the differences are small enough to really not make a huge difference, with the exception being warriors and their resource pool. I guess the variance is a set amount and when most people have much larger pools, the small warrior shows that difference a lot more.

I get that, it is just my opinion that one shouldn't have to fight an uphill battle because of seemingly arbitrary rng.
Who knows, maybe there is a reason for it. The devs are rather tight about explaining how anything really works in here.
@Bobble I can still get you, just go up onto the roof of the warehouse :P Adding to friends/whispering is kind of useless in this game, at least it is for me.
Oh, if I got this straight. Blader is more single target focused and Plum is more AoE focused.
I think you flipped it? The video I saw of Blader looked like it came straight out of Dynasty Warriors. Dude was cutting thru a bunch of mobs like a scythe thru tall grass.
Yes I'm very much looking forward to Blader/Plum, and I seriously hope they put them in with tonight/tomorrow's patch. I think I will probably also enjoy the Ninja character later, but playing as a katana-wielding AoE badass just sounds straight up my alley, I must say.

It was officially announced last week they are in for tomorrow.
I have been saving my fishing money (which has been all I had time for lately) for a Plum / Maehwa. I have like 7 mil saved atm. So I should be good to get it set up pretty solid for 50.

Maybe I will stop after a horse ends like this
Tier 6 with sprint, drift and instant acceleration 8-)

I'm Violetea Dragonita. Say "hi" in game.
In the meantime, I'll try to scan back a bit and get a feeling for who's who and whatnot.

Sorry, @Arthil added to the spreadsheet and forgot to post the name in here. On character Zhaba this evening, family name Bobbeorn.
I get that, it is just my opinion that one shouldn't have to fight an uphill battle because of seemingly arbitrary rng.

Tip for anyone planning to play them, they use the same weapon as Tamers.
See you guys on the other side
I think you flipped it? The video I saw of Blader looked like it came straight out of Dynasty Warriors. Dude was cutting thru a bunch of mobs like a scythe thru tall grass.
Hype is real, but I work 16 hours on Wednesday. Oh well, have Thursday off.
In my defense they use the official names and I don't have which one is which down quite yet.
Musa is Blader, Maehwa is Plum.
