Hmmmm, so I need instant acceleration on my uber horse.
Yes it's so much fun to zoooom. If you get it on a high lvl horse plus speed or drift you don't need a new mount for a very long time.
Finish one [Instant Accel has been completely mastered] and it's now time to train "Flash" drift skill. It's me or effect horse names the skill list too
Can anyone give me the quick rundown on upgrading the Silver Embroidered life skills outfits? Been waiting on a +2 processing one to appear on the AH but I'm getting impatient and figure I should just try and make my own... but I get the feeling it's a bit more complicated than it appears. The extra skill levels would be really nice though :P
Its the same as upgrading accessories. You use two of the costume and hope it works, otherwise both are destroyed.
First time is like a 25% chance that can get over 50% with failstacks, but the second attempt is like 12% and needs a +1 to do it. I think most of those costumes cost like 300k so its no joke to make one. The price they sell for on the market is WAY less than it will cost to make one unless you are lucky, so anyone who sells one is pretty silly.
Isn't it funny how an experienced gamer can try something a handful of times, spitball an estimate on the chances of success and then when someone does a hundred-million cycle test, be more-or-less in the ballpark?
I was on for a few hours last night and did not see a single online guildie. At least none that weren't running around AFK. Sure is a lonely world out there without guildchat.
Hrm guess I gotta buy some cheap jewelry and fail stack up then. When going above +1 does it require a +1 and +0 or 2 +1s to try and make a +2 version?

A +x and a +0 will always be the combo.
It probably won't let you put 2 enchanted pieces in the enchant window.
My contract expired on Sunday night and I have yet to see an officer online/awake to renew me. Not that the 14k is going to kill me, but I'd like to continue to contribute to the guild and I can't with an expired contract!

The game is played so passively, I think most of us are almost never on at the same time so we don't talk much. I know I play very on and off almost every time I am playing, only a few days a week do I bunker down and play for 3-4 hours and level my characters. The rest is doing some prep here and there for money making.
I play a good bit but I rarely pay attention and without time stamps I never know if I'm responding to something new or from twelve hours ago so I just don't.
@Arthil Negative. I play late hours. I'm normally online between 8PM and midnight pacific time. I'm also on for about 20 minutes in the morning while I eat breakfast between 7:40 and 8AM (again, Pacific time).
If your contract expires shoot me a message on Beerserk. I'll try to renew ya whenever I check in (which is usually every hour or so in the evening when crafting).

So we get stiff once in a while. So we have a little fun. What’s wrong with that? This is a free country, isn’t it? I can take my panda any place I want to. And if I wanna buy it a drink, that’s my business.

Hey, for any aspiring new horse trainers like me who thinks they'll be clever and level two horses at the same time: Don't forget that wagons have a 'lifespan' on them and they're kind of expensive.
I dunno... it's only 180k for a farm wagon, or 30k, 6CP (that you get back later), and a bunch of materials to build one.
For the aspiring farmers out there, I've been farming onions for the last few weeks. Initially I was making them for oatmeal, but once I discovered that High Quality onions replace normal onions at 3:1 I started just saving the few greens that popped up and started selling off the white ones. I've been putting them on the marketplace for max value and they sell almost instantly. It's not crazy 1kk/hr money, but considering that farming pretty much runs in the background unattended and only requires a single check in once every four to six hours, it's not a bad deal.
Note I'm NOT doing all that fancy scarecrow/watering/fertilizer crap. I'm just planting seeds, letting them grow. With bugs and tangles. I'm not doing ANY maintenance on the farm other than planting and picking. It's about 250k solid income for maybe 5 minutes effort every few hours.
I started the switch to carrots last night. First batch is going to be for seeds. It'll take a few (real) days to ramp it up to full production. I'm curious to see how it compares to onions.
I have been off the farming wagon, was only doing it for sunflowers to make tea. I also don't want to lock up that contribution as I'm trying to connect necessary nodes while I'm focused on leveling and node production.
I think I need to go through and clean up my contribution investments in cities...

Finding new more efficient ways to set buildings up is great
Carrots have definitely been selling for me. It's been decent scratch (for my lil' level 33 perspective).
Level 33 isn't little
I think I have had over 30 mil overall. I spend it all on stupid shit though. I buy new gear for every character just for the fun of it. My Maewha actually has improved gear though. PRI bares accessories and +5 armor, +8 weapon.

Sure as hell doesn't feel like it with some of these spells. Meteor and Earthquake are soooo fucking satisfying. Does any other class have anything even remotely that cool?
Here's a hint: Never ever buy gear that is easily obtained for free. That is, armor up to +5 or weapons/offhands up to +7. Getting ANY gear to that level is 100% guaranteed and you would be wasting silver buying it. Instead, buy the normal +0 versions and either buy Black Stones (or just get the stones for free from the daily quest) and slot them. Even if you buy the stones at 200k silver each, a +5 armor piece would only cost 1kk silver, much lower than what the buy price is on the marketplace. And getting aromr to +5 (weapons/offhands to +7) has a 100% success rate! So there is literally zero risk!
Going higher than that could mean the loss of Black Stones and item maximum durability, so outright buying them from the marketplace might be worthwhile. Getting my armor (chest) to +10 took about 20 Black Stones PLUS another 300k (and an hour or two playing the amity game to open the armor shop) to repair the max durability.
So speaking of armor, should I be seeking out specific sets for my witch? It seems like gear actually drops in certain areas, so maybe steering toward the right areas while leveling might be worthwhile. I've got a buncha black stones banked until I really know what to do with them.
Slam those stones into whatever you've got now! Even the basic Rebar/Reblath/Binder/Basteer gets increased DP, and some pieces get some extra "hidden" bonuses like +Evade or +Accuracy. As long as you don't exceed the "free" limit (+5 for armor, +7 for weapons/offhands), you can extract every single stone and re-use it on your "end game" armor sets. The original armor is going to be destroyed in the process, but who cares? The base armor is almost free anyway.
@Bobble take armor to +5 and weapons to +7 as there is no fail chance.
While leveling any set works, it matters more at 50+ and more if you're doing pvp. Whatever set you choose, you can generally get the important stats with crystals.
The general consensus is that 4 grunil is best followed by 2 taritas and 2 grunil.
Of course Grunil is expensive and hard to find on the market, even harder to "earn" so that might not be easy to acquire.
But everything works in some form. This is likely only for max level grinding.
I'm using this to make grinding the amity for grunril ridiculously easy. Ground all four pieces in one full set of energy. Just forgot to bring the actual silver/money to buy it.

Yeah, amity Grunil is really not that hard. I have gotten like 9 pieces from him (the original set and then 5 for repairs) and it's not that bad.

You probably checked 'throw out trash fish' or whatever the button is. It throws out anything under blue quality (including green and white level fish).
Or alternatively, you ran out of durability on your rod?

But low enchant levels? Save your silver.
3 agerian with talis boots is also good.
