Can't repair steel. Doesn't matter, steel lasts a good two or three inventories per rod, you'll just buy a couple and dump em in your horse or boat to grab when one goes kaput.
Named rods can be repaired but none are really worth it.
For cooking, what benefit do the green/blue crops give? Like if I've got some blue (special) wheat, can I make beer with only 1-2 of those instead of the normal 5?

Balenos can be worth for afk if you're just going to be an hour or 2 other than that, I see most recommend to just stick with the thick rod.

Greens count as 3 whites. So, for example, if you were making Oatmeal, instead of using (3) Onions, you would use (1) High Quality Onion.
Blues count as 5 whites. So, for example, if you were making Beer, instead of using (5) Wheats, you would use (1) Special Wheat.
There's a bonus for larger sums, but it's not really huge. At the higher sums it's decent. I got 600 bonus for buying 6,000. I think I saw you get 40 bonus for buying 2,000, which is pretty silly since I don't think there's anything in the pearl store cheaper than 50.
An extra 10% is reasonable. I looked at the website and it didn't indicate that there was, and I've seen companies offer bonuses when you purchase from some places but not others.
The silly way it works, for some reason, is that you're buying Daum Cash on the website. The only thing you can buy with Daum cash (that I'm aware of) is pearls. Maybe they have some other game you can spend Daum cash on, but for this is just an extra layer. The converting DC to Pearls is where you get the bonus.

Don't package them, find a trader and you sell them there.
They last 24 hours real time, the value goes down as they age. They keep full value for about 2.5 hours though.

So we get stiff once in a while. So we have a little fun. What’s wrong with that? This is a free country, isn’t it? I can take my panda any place I want to. And if I wanna buy it a drink, that’s my business.
is there anyone who has one of those guest passes? I am really interested in this game but don't really have the money to risk without trying it first. I'd really appreciate it!

I'd take one as well if any one has one. Want to try it out before I pull the trigger.
This game has consumed me. My max level is a 32 Witch with a 30 warrior, 31 Musa, 30 Berserker, and 30 Tamer. I just now discovered Calpheon with 132 Energy and 118 CP. I can't remember the last time I actually killed a monster for any reason other than "it was physically blocking me from doing something". I absolutely love the worker/node system. Horse taming is a little tedious, but can be done primarily offline, so that's a plus.
I really want to try farming, but I'm having trouble finding CP I can refund. I want to invest in all the things.
PS. I find it really freaking annoying that the cave to the west of Keplan cannot be linked directly to Keplan. That's a second coal node and holy crap at the nodes needed to connect it to a town LITERALLY 10 feet away.

I used to be like you, but I recently decided to finally push out the levels on my Maewha. If you have that much Energy and CP, it would be a good idea to get one of those characters to around 36. I think it was there I got the Black Spirit quests for Energy and CP that reward gold bars. At your ranks you could complete 3 of the energy ones and 3 of the CP ones. You are 4 energy from the fourth one of those too. I think the third ones give 1 mil gold bars, and the energy one for 140 energy was multiple million bars I think. It is some solid free money.
Also I didn't know you could turn energy into pots to sell. And they sell WELL. I need to get on that.
Yay got my Silver Embroidered Crafting Suit +1 done this weekend, now to work on the +2 version.... I think I gotta get a bunch more failstacks for that :P

Well, I finally finished playing with the Khuruto! It only took me two weeks to work through those kill quests and the knowledge associated with those little buggers. And then I positively TORE through the quests in the Northern Plantation area. I think because I find the "life skills" quests much more interesting than: "Khuruto ran over my dog with their truck, go wreck (5) of their houses for me!" followed by "Khuruto stole my girlfriend, go piss in their soup (5) times!" etc etc etc.
Admittedly, there was still a bit of "go kill (3) Farm Boars" followed by "go kill (5) Farm Boars" followed by "go kill Farm Boars until you get (3) magic invisible RNG loot items that don't show up inventory", but for the most part, I much enjoy the complex multi-level questing of the life skills. Even something as simple gathering Tin can often (and usually does) end up being a multi-step process. First, you go find a tin node. Then you realize your pick is used up, so you start crafting one. But a new pick requires either steel or bronze, so there is some processing involved. Then you need to do some inventory management to get the materials to the city where you have your tool workshop. Then select a worker who is already working on something else and cancel what he was doing and start him on crafting the tool. Then you go get the new pick, equip it and go to town. To me, that is a lot more interesting than "go one-shot locust swarms (50) times"....
I'm actually kind of dreading moving to the next area. I suspect it will be the Bree Tree Ruins area and it'll be killing quests again for a few days.
Caught my first two wild horses this weekend! ...both T1 males. :?
(it seems Mediah is the place to go to catch horses; there are way more spawns per square distance measurement, and it's not super crowded yet like Serendia and Balenos seem to be. Actually, this wasn't wasn't just my first time catching a wild horse...it was my first time seeing one too)
Also connected Epheria and started putting together a Fishing Boat. Caved and bought the bronze off the market because I don't even know where to begin getting zinc and I'm low on CP anyway. Lucked into a skilled goblin worker so he's harvesting the wood I need while his pathetic, unskilled counterparts stuff scantlings into the boat house.
I told myself I was gonna grind my face off during the bonus xp weekend...and I sort of did...but I still wound up getting very distracted pretty regularly. Got Maehwa from 27 to 32 though, so yay! Finally surpassed my other highest level class, my sorc. Mae is a lot of fun, and way more tanky than anything else I've played so far. Which is good because I am not awesome at combat.
So I am just now hearing about HorseGate... apparently the T5 horse I got with my Conq pack is actually like a T3 in disguise. Which explains why I lost that race!
Apparently in recompense Daum is going to give Conq Pack holders a T5 female horse.

Not surprising, seeing as someone streaming the game caught immediately on pre-launch that the model/skin looked like a lower tier than it was supposed to be.

@Bobble stupid has the numbers
For beer I just get potatoes from a node.
Green sunflower is totally worth it if you want to make your own milk tea, and I think it's good for trade creates too.
Those levels where you can use thick are the only time. Even then it's a hassle to either make them or find any to buy.

Bonus XP for the new Diablo 3 season
Edit: When you buy pearls, do you get any bonus for purchasing larger sums?

But if you want to preserve them for cooking and stuff you can open up the processing menu (default L) and dry them fishies
Just not if it's raining.
Seriously.

Sorry for the spoiler.
Florin has some gathering, and a fair few alchemy quests.

Looks like they want me horse breeding after all.
I thought it was supposed to be t3?

Boo they're closing our channel.
I swear I've seen wild spawn tier 3 horses before
Only 500 rum and I can has pirate hat and eye patch...
Uhh... I guess the Mediah channels are looking nice this time of year? I'm still patching so gimme a bit and I'll ping MyDycmbr.
I'll head to mediah01 next time
I wouldn't mind having one, too, if there are any left.
Need to try something to scratch my MMO itch.
