I like how after yelling and screaming for a couple hours she's all "Goddamn it, I'm going to have to rescue myself" and proceeds to completely dismantle Barry's prison. Also the truck driver at the end. It was great.
Also I'm really glad Mallory is getting more screen time again. I remember last season there was some thought Jessica Walters might be unwell, because it seemed Mallory was getting sidelined a bit. Whatever happened, she is back in full ass kicking force this season.
I think this episode would have worked better if it was just nearly completely Mallory centric, and we got to see her doing more kickass stuff getting back to town, and then peek in the agency and seeing Barry holding them all hostage and then devising a plan to break and take him out.
Only to find out after she does so that through talking about mothers and looking for and finding his, Barry managed to put Archers shit behind him and reformed and got some development.
Well, now there is a logical explanation for the teaser in the season opener
The body in the pool is someone else wearing Kreiger's Archer face.
Hah, that's too logical!
there was also the mustache bodyguard in the first episode. I imagine we're gonna be getting a bunch of red herring possible alternative Archers before the end. ;p

archer can't die yet, we don't know who his father is!
surprise twist: we won't find out but barry turns out to be his brother.
I was half-expecting the brother reveal in this episode.
They were definitly fucking with us there.
This episode was better than deadly prep but I hope Barry goes on a break for a bit. Kinda sick of him.
They did literally bus him though
I can take a Barry episode a season. They usually take them in different directions. I want a Katya episode. Maybe something where she has to work with Lana, and there isn't the Archer drama besides maybe some jokes in the beginning and end.

"Archer is to blame for this" painted in red on the wall really made me crack up, as did her reaction to it.

I liked it because that means that Barry assumed that she would be able to free herself from the chair, and maybe escape.
Archer showed an unusual level of competence in how the outcome eventually came out.
Well.....nobody really did anything. They each took out a single guy and wandered about for a bit. So by them not doing anything it turned out better.
I really like that three of them managed to each create an advantage and then proceeded to do nothing with it but, believably and completely unintentionally, fight amongst themselves.
Also Lana pissed off about her dress. That was great.
I assumed it was also a reference to Lois and Clark, the 90's Superman show, and Ray thinking he had just gone with that instead of Lewis and Clark, the explorers.
And then realizing that no, he was making a gay joke. Or a joke about Cyrill being a woman.

They all suck so much.

And this season is " Archer: Vice " done right IMO.

But the rule of funny and all
I was wondering about that. Detectives dont get authority over swat like that

Next week-
I didn't get it
He was referring to Ray and Cyril as Lois and Clark because Ray is gay so he gets called girl names
Yeah I am not a fan of them either
I'm not sure I got the point either but I think it might have been something about these guys: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lewis_and_Clark_Expedition
He was mocking Ray's sexuality. It would be Louis and Clark but because it was Ray and Cyrill...
I suppose to be fair it could be either of them he was calling Lois.
He was making fun of Ray for being gay. Lois is a women's name.
Louis and Clark are famous american explorers.
And then realizing that no, he was making a gay joke. Or a joke about Cyrill being a woman.
Oh god, that disinfectant bit brought forth so damn much funny.
And I have nothing to apologise for.
