Noticed a little green envelope on Steam today. It's from @UseR2006!
Unfortunately, UseR rolled a one for timing, since I've already accepted a copy from JaysonFour. Still, I really do appreciate the attempt.
It took a bit too come through them. I sent it at the exact same time as @JaysonFour yesterday, great minds think a like and all that jazz. XD
Will need to find another target then...

Apparently @UseR2006 won't be denied when it comes to gifting...
It says a lot about a book/game/movie when people say that you have to read/play/watch it, but won't say the slightest thing about it as not to ruin the experience. I've really been wanting to check this one out. Thanks so much!
I think that the internet has been for years on the path to creating what is essentially an electronic Necronomicon: A collection of blasphemous unrealities so perverse that to even glimpse at its contents, if but for a moment, is to irrevocably forfeit a portion of your sanity.

After a week being off medication due to a doctors fuck-up, and a bunch of job shit going on at the moment, I'm super anxious.
@an_alt , out of the blue, sent across Proteus. A game that looks SUPER relaxing and is something I am installing immediately to try and ensure I get a genuine nights sleep tonight.
Thanks so much!

So with all the Xcom 2 hype, I figured it was time to play the first (which I already owned). Picked up the xpac for cheap and I'm about to start. Are there any general tips I should know? I'll probably play an easier difficulty because it's my first time, but I didn't know if there were tips for base building, research, etc.

Putting up a satellite lowers the panic of the relevant country. Letting a country sit at max panic without a satellite at the end of the month means you lose that country forever. When you get a choice between missions in three different areas, look at their panic levels first and the mission rewards second.
Thanks to @Shogun constantly telling people to pick up Big Pharma from the humble bundle, @Antoshka struck with a key for me. It contained, you guessed it, Big Pharma. Once i'm done with my super Xcom2 kick, I'll be sure to try this one out. Thanks Kiwi. (Even if you're an honorary aussie in xcom2)

@JaysonFour came out of retirement to gift me FaeVerse Alchemy in the hopes of keeping my backlog above 0 (like it was ever really in danger of getting there). Thanks, mate!
Oh no. @Pixelated Pixie and @Dashui suddenly decided to attack me again. Alerting the chat to my "birthday". I've now logged off and am going to bed to protect myself from further attacks.

And then curse the RNG for giving you a choice between two countries at level 4 one day before the end of the month.

Thanks @Descendant X and @JaysonFour for the back to back shooting. Specifically @Descendant X for the gift of pooping my pants repeatedly in the near future.
I really need to get around to finishing Sequence Before the Echo, some of those later stages were pretty dang hard. This should motivate me to finish though.
Thanks, @an_alt, for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified! Word around the campfire is that if you got over it being an XCOM game, which it really wasn't, it was actually a pretty fun 1950's/SciFi Mass Effect light with research, tech upgrades, and the ability to order your squadmates about. I love ordering my squadmates about, so I appreciate the opportunity.

The trick is to have nothing on your wish list on sale (or do like me and buy it all before anything bad can happen).

This is clearly a Shade trick. Also a User trick.
I remember when NFS games were fun. That seems like a long time ago.
Steam Support is the worst. Seriously, the worst

Hot Pursuit (2010) is still fun. It's also the most recent one I've played.

The original most wanted was awesome. I got excited when I heard it was free on origin, and then disappointed when I realized it was the reboot.
Thanks!
I mean, I just don't even. I didn't even then, and I still don't even now.

Dammit @Firebird - I said someone ELSE had this wishlisted!
Thanks, though. It looks silly!
Of course, shortly after, @Pixie decides to take a swing at me!

Getting started with BATTLETECH: Part 1 / Part 2
So @JaysonFour thought I needed more Ghosts in my Shell.
I knew that friend request was a trap. They are always traps :O
Thanks heaps! This looks like it could be fun, even if i can just run around as Batou XD
