D&D stories make me wish I had nerdier friends growing up. So many fun tabletop shenanigans I must have missed out on.
I dimly recall one story of someone failing a will roll against a succubus, but critically succeeding every stamina check and simply outlasting them. I need to see the DM's face as they had to adjust.

I just want to say thank god for the internet and wi fi these days.
Nerdy kids today have it easy. Back in my day, I lived in the middle of nowhere and had a cart full of pokemans and a link cable that barely ever saw any use. Those were dark times.

Nerdy kids today have it easy. Back in my day, I lived in the middle of nowhere and had a cart full of pokemans and a link cable that barely ever saw any use. Those were dark times.
I had some friends that were gamers in high school but college when I was within walking distance of gaming friends and roomed with some was a totally different world. On top of that there was suddenly fast internet back when dialup was still the norm.
One roommate in particular and I had a tendency to get each other into various games. He had gotten me into Tribes 2 and we were both playing one day with speakers on. We wind up on different teams in the same game one day and I'm playing air defense duty when I lock onto an enemy bomber. I notice the missile lock tone sounds a lot more echoey than usual. He noticed the same thing and few seconds later we realized that he was in the bomber I was about to fire on. Good times.
So Talos Principle. Can you beat all the areas the first time you go there? Or do you have to come back to some? I have a red brick in world 3 that I can't see any way to beat yet. I don't want the solution, just should I move on to 4 for a while.
You unlock tools as you go along. If you have all the tools required, (which, iirc, the game will pop up icons for the tools needed) you can beat the challenge.
I'm getting no in game pop ups, so I think no? I did unlock one thing, but I have no idea how I'm supposed to use it. I think it is a collector? was the first puzzle in the first main room.
When you first enter a puzzle area, it should pop up the title of the puzzle and have some icons below it. I THINK they have a X over them if you don't yet have them, but you an also compare them to your UI which should show what tools you have unlocked.
Tools are provided per challenge, so if you need one (or more), they'll be in the puzzle area.
I have yet to see this, so I'm guessing I haven't gotten to something that has it. Ponder, I found out I'm able to get stars. I'm missing 2 out of 3 places I have been, but no idea how to find them. Oh well, keep looking.
As for table top, now we have tabletop simulator. So far my campaign is going ok. Hum, @HiT BiT If you get a chance can you make something to go into my sig for the now playing that shows TTS or pathfinder related?
We spent a total of ten months on researching and developing this game for PC users, two months of which were spent on rigorous testing. However, we have been made aware of the fact that some of our customers have been experiencing issues when playing the game.
According to the research we have done, it seems as if most of the issues are graphics related.
Right now, we at NISA and NIS are trying to gather as much information from all over the world as possible in order to pinpoint what is causing these problems.
Please use the comment section below and let us know what issues you are experiencing.
If you could provide your computer specs, and specific details of where and when the bug occurs, we can have a better understanding in pinpointing the issue.
We will do our absolute best to fix these issues as quickly as possible, and we will make sure that all your voices are heard by the dev team.
Thank you for your understanding.

I really hope they can get stuff fixed rather quickly. Disgaea is one of those games I really wanted to get into but never did because I had no PS2/PSP.

It would be nice to play the enhanced versions of Disgaea 2-4 and Disgaea 5 without having to buy a PS4 and Vita.
I think I might be kind of screwed on any future disgaea games for awhile if this doesn't work out.

Feels like more smaller devs should just put a kickstarter together to port or translates their games if they have to.
Hell, I'll pay for it. I got no problem with shameless "we don't want to take the risk, you pay for it" crowdfunding.

I mean, there was at least one other guy in that bomber that WASN'T my roommate.
I don't know how I haven't heard of this... this sounds like it could be the greatest game ever made. A valiant struggle in Cupcake World to protect the last donuts? Why was I not informed? I count on you people to tell me about relevant games. I have been let down. Luckily, @JaysonFour came along to set things right.

I'm not ashamed to admit I was that kid, even after I did have one or two friends into Pokemon.
Mr. Pancakes lived out the rest of his days at the Crucible, training the youths of Houses Pham and Sigma, as well as his younger relatives of House Immernacht, in the ways of being an unstoppable one man army.

I hear SuperHot is like 17 dollars on GMG with coupon codes?
Also like 10 dollars in Brazil, but you gotta do some VPN hoodoo for that.
17 dollars sounds doable for me, if it's actually as good as people seem to be claiming. Anyone put some time in yet? And also how do you do those coupon codes?
Not my footage but uh, yeah, SuperHot is exactly what anyone who cares about it wanted: More Super Hot.
So far I've got almost half an hour in and it's a neat mix of puzzle levels with longer but easier ones where you mostly do stylish stomps. Apparently the campaigns about 2 hours and then there's a bunch of challenges/alt modes. So might be a bit expensive from an hours to cost ratio but it's all super solid.
Is here someone who have 4gb RAM and win 10 ? Steam works like slow motion after wake-up
Hrm, you need 2gb of RAM for 64bit Windows 10 as a base requirement. With that little, I'd be sure nothing else is running when you want to use Steam. The store is sluggish all the time, but your library and friends list should be snappy. Sounds like it should work, but it might be slow. I'd do all the standard virus/malwarebytes sweeps.

Thank you so so much to every one who took time out of their days to message me a happy birthday. I truly do appreciate it. Thank you so much to everyone who sent a donation to the rabbit's charity, and people who sent me games. This community is amazing and if I could give you all hugs I would.
I also want to thank @CorriganX for coming up with the idea to make donations in Marzipan's memory, as well as thank everyone that donated! You guys are so thoughtful and generous. Both Marzipan and Benji came from local animal shelters, and there are so many lovely animals out there waiting for a good home, so the next time you're thinking of adding a new pet to your family, please consider adopting one, or otherwise supporting your local shelters!
To tie this in with games, you might be able to find your local shelter as an option on Humble Bundle (The one Marzipan came from is on there)! Also, it's been noted in the steam thread before that a portion of the proceeds from the game Purring Quest are donated to animal charities.
@Hardtarget, did you need VPN shenanigans or did your buy go straight through at Nuuvem?
used tunnelbear's chrome extension (set to brazil) to complete the purchase, other than that no shenanigans to activate on steam or anything like that and actually paying on paypal with a canadian account worked fine.
(nuuvem is tough now, a lot of stuff is starting to require Brazilian paypal accounts)
So SuperHot, after you beat it, gives you a link to give to a friend so they can get it at a discount. Dunno how many times it can be used, or for how much...

My Steam streaming box is a Celeron Intel NUC with Windows 10 and 4GB RAM, so I assure you that it's lower spec than anything you're running.
