Town halls have been, to this point, a format where the candidates get equal time to answer questions posed by the moderator in order to avoid the DNC limitations on debates. Essentially each candidate will get a while to answer questions without the other candidates interrupting.
They tried to bury us. They didn't know that we were seeds. 2018 Midterms. Get your shit together.

I thought Bernie knocked that question out of the park actually.
"You wanna know about my veteran support? I headed that shit and got shit tons of legislation passed. Let me list my years of work in veteran support."
I wouldn't go that far because one of the Obama administrations biggest failures is the mismanagement of the VA IMO. But he did well with it.
I still feel he's too " Step 2:???" but he did well and far better than any GOPer could do in substantive debate

Fair enough. I felt it was well detailed in terms of saying "I've done a lot for veterans, I don't just blow smoke." But yeah, considering its been during the whole VA shebang, I get your point too.
Edit: So I don't double post, listening to Hilldawg talking here with this question, she feels like she is flubbing a bit at the beginning of her answer. Starting to turn it around now though.

The draft one she totally dodged, but I thought her answer about "not expanding military use" was pretty straight forward: She will not agree to that, because she does not know what will happen. She wants to use diplomacy, but will use military if she has to.
This most recent question she also dodged too.

Ha ha that's true. The end-of-life and humility questions were pretty out there for a town hall, and I thought she did well on those.
Heh that's pretty fair. But it is a critique of Obama as well. When he's not giving a speech, he is not nearly as eloquent and stumbles on answer.
I guess because I'm a rambler but I always found that endearing. I sympathize with the idea of wanting to tell someone everything and you end up telling them nothing.

That's a big deal in New Hampshire right now. Opiates in particular. Since this is a thing candidates are asked about by real voters all the time apparently, it often comes up when they're asked about any drug thing.

Oh I get it. I just personally don't like it, because for some people it's going to mentally link medical marijuana and addiction.
Obama did something with this I forget what. But it wasn't like a crackdown on the addicts but attempting to do more to help.
Obviously because Americans still love punishing drug offenders in general it'll forever make it hard to get something good there, but dems at least are not full on RAWR DRUG WAR!!!

I think we're turning into Bernie Supporters Shifting More And More Toward Clinton. But it's a long time till the California primary.
It's a big deal in a lot of areas now- specifically affluent areas which is one of the (unfortunately) main reasons it's getting traction as opposed to when it was just killing them poors.
And affluent more or less means white here
