A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.
So Eddy, should I play Firewatch or Life Is Strange first
I haven't played firewatch
so therefore life is strange is better

Puppies, I've played another game of Blood Rage but I came in second. My buddy won with a combo of the second tier Loki Valhalla points and a double of the same mission with Odin's Throne
I don't think you should be able to double up on the same mission. Seems lame.
what scrub-tier faildrafter handed him the second one?
be honest
This is sort of the issue with Blood Rage. It is impossible to block someone from getting a combo when you don't see what they draft and it's very likely that they will get a shot at the cards they want before anyone even gets a good picture of what's available. It's entirely possible he picked the first mission from his first hand and the duplicate from his second hand, and nobody could have stopped him.
I don't really like drafting games, honestly. They are really, really luck-driven and also rely on complete card knowledge.
A reasonable point, if you're the sort of dead-inside automaton that yearns for Diplomacy

Yeach. How dare others have an experience I desire on a different platform.
A Kickstarter I backed just added some stuff to the base level that was included at a higher level because the designer really thought they made a huge difference and the big capital costs were paid for. He put out an update saying that and asking for feedback. I'm amazed at the people who were all aggrieved that he wanted to reduce his profit margins on some games to make it better in a way they also already got (as a small portion of the more money they spent.)
Happily the majority of comments were all positive and the creator is even allowing folks to downgrade pledges."
As a PC owner with no consoles:
If MS is going to advertise based on exclusives, and then later goes back on that advertisement, they've devalued the product they sold.
People are advised to "vote with their wallets." In this case, consumers put their money where the mouth is, and then got mocked for being a bunch of whiners?
Unrelated: If the recomemnded spec for QB is a Nvidia 980ti at $680, there needs to be a discussion about what kinds of game experiences console folks versus PC gamers are having.
wait is that like an anime version of shawshank redemption
well it's an anime joking reference to shawshank redemption

So Eddy, should I play Firewatch or Life Is Strange first
i'm playing these both side by side
Firewatch is shorter (assuming it doesn't crash on you fifty fucking times)
life is strange is more engaging but, much longer.
So I'd say Firewatch first, especially because it just came out and this way you wont be behind. Life is Strange came out months ago so you're not in a hurry to catch up right now

I was about to say how Diplomacy kind of sucks because the main driver of success or failure is the mere whims of others - which would be fine if it weren't a long-term, high-investment game with player elimination.
I just think drafting from hidden pools to a hidden hand is a bad mechanic and kind of lazy. Come up with a better and more transparent subsystem for player power growth, like Kemet!

Because I was not a page.
