Jeb bragging about all the hurricanes and tropical storms that hit Florida when he was governor and how well they recovered.

But climate change isn't real, and how much money did you get from the federal government that you all want to downsize to recover from those storms, Jeb?

Wouldn't it be easier to just make a mold of Reagan's penis and let them go to town? Bring in Howard Stern for some class...

Not enough room, the big dicks of Ronnie's Hollywood era were Gary Cooper, Milton Berle, Eddie Fisher, and Richard Burton, not the Gipper.

Although a young Nancy Davis (future Nancy Reagan) was known for giving some of the best head in the business.

Rebuild the military? Did I miss something? Pretty sure it's fairly substantial as is, Rubio.

They go back to fucking up the country from their Senate seat.

He goes back to being the most hated man in the Senate. Then when his term is up he probably gets re-elected because Texas is horrible.

Yeah, trying to explain that a single US Navy Nimitz-class carrier (let alone one of the new Ford's, and how the hell did he get an entire class of ship named after his clumsy ass?!) can project more effective military power than everyone save Britain, Russia, and China would be a fool's errand.

    Prediction for tomorrow's headline:

"Trump Devoured by Rabid Dogs Live on Stage; No Trace Remains"

Immediately followed by polls showing him up another five points in South Carolina.

    I vote for ADVENT.

    So Ted Cruz, eh?

Because I'm pretty sure he'd go full Totalitarian first opportunity.

Also he might be an alien. At the very least, if he was an alien sympathizer I'd be completely unsurprised.

First they came for the Muslims, and we said NOT TODAY, MOTHERFUCKER!

Not just "someone else." Specifically "The Other." More specifically "The Welfare Queen" that Reagan inserted into the political zeitgeist.

If America was as white as Sweden (at least before the recent mass immigration) we would have a better chance at UHC. But it's so damn easy to dogwhistle on this issue. *sigh*

So with the debate over, here's the short of the Arlington stadium 'boondoggle'.

A group of investors looking to purchase the Texas Rangers bring in GWB to be the public face due to his regional popularity. They know the (at the time) current Arlington Stadium is old and the future of ownership means luxury boxes and other new-fangled shit.

So with GWB as the face, they convince the local government to spend about $130 million to help finance a stadium with about 20% more from the ownership itself. In exchange, the stadium is essentially turned over to the team owners rather than remaining in municipal control.

The new stadium is built on the parking lot just outside of the old stadium, but at some point, governor Ann Richards authorised the use of ED along Johnson Creek that runs nearby to build some kind of 'riverwalk shopping' which was the style of all these new stadiums popping up. The shopping area is never built. I don't know who owns the creek land now.

As an attack on JEB! it sucks.

The Stalin quote is kinda funny. I've ran into it before. It should trip anyone's bullshit sensor, but it escapes it for some.
"America is like a healthy body, and its resistance is three-fold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within."

And I think Cruz said something like "I'm speaking it now. What more do you want?'

Or something like that. He kind of stumbled saying it and Rubio was shouting so I couldn't quite catch it.

May 28, 2015 Going to war with Iraq was the wrong thing to do, American voters say 59 - 32 percent. Republicans support the 2003 decision 62 - 28 percent, while opposition is 78 - 16 percent among Democrats and 65 - 26 percent among independent voters.
I had hoped that might have changed over the last few years. Oh well. Explains the reactions to Trump tonight.
