The arachnid isn't bad if you're going for strictly long-medium to long range. I'm making shots with golden gun I would have no business hitting otherwise. It's pretty great.

It'd be really cool if Inferno Rumble wins actually counted towards the Rumble grimoire. I think I've had more luck getting wins there.
The lack of motion tracker definitely makes it more tolerable to me. Much less of the "hide near spawn points and wait for the tracker to respond" going on.

I don't mind them to fuck around with. But Bungie is pretty gun shy (heh) atm due to three exotic HCs dominating the meta in year 1. Most people want something that's going to kill with some measure of reliability and not take its sweet time doing it when they pvp. HCs are kinda bad for that right now because of the same issue that fusion rifles suffered from until the latest patch in that frequently a shot will fly off in some weird fuckoff trajectory regardless of however steady your aim is.
Hand cannons are moderately accurate. Says so right there in the manual. More importantly, an Imago Loop or Eyasluna will perform adequately with range enhancing perks. Rifled barrel is preferred.

Without accuracy increasing perks, hand cannons are less reliable at range than auto rifles.
Boolean Gemini comes up somewhat favourably on that list, which seems pretty odd. Got around to doing the moon resource collection and it was probably the least...worst? I'd have preferred by far having to kill strike bosses for any reason, or other kills of any sort.

It's ttk doesn't seem anything special (3 shots at best again losing to hawkmoon?) while it comes to range I think it still loses to surprise surprise hawkmoon.
I just don't think there is any actual reason to pick it over hawkmoon which is a shame considering what you go through quest wise to get the thing in the first place.

HAH! The First Curse has best in class range. The very best in class range. Hawkmoon isn't even in the same league. TFC also has silly aim assist. I have shot guardians around cover with it.

If you mean like legendary Wolves/Queen weapons, I haven't seen it. Blues with sorta high light levels routinely drop for each.
It does have the three HoW exotics as well as legendary class items on it's list, which is nice.

There's a couple in there like that... Destiny has a few weapons are just plain bad.
Obviously the doc doesn't factor in perks or exotic traits, but even then it's hard to make up for a weapons with garbo base stats like that.
