Spagetti Westerns

I quite like Spagetti Westerns (shock, gasp, horror!), having bought Lee Van Clefs three movie back which Includes "Death Rides a Horse", "God's Gun" and I forget the last movie. I already have the prime Spagetti Western movies, A Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad and the Ugly.

Do you recommend anything else? Peferably without John Wyne. I quite like Clint Eastwood and Lee Van Clef but am open to others.

You mean fix him like the Janitor on Scrubs, fix him by bashing his brain with a wrench, or fix him by doing other things to him while they're alone in the boiler room when he was 12.

The interesting thing about A Fistful of Dollars is that it was inspired by Kurosawa's Yojimbo, as most people know.

What isn't as widely known is that Yojimbo was in fact inspired by two Dashiell Hammett novels, Red Harvest and The Glass Key.

Yes I know that. But the point is I quite like the stories and plus Client and Van Cleef are good actors and that can't be helped. I am just looking for more movies to add and watch.

I'm not ashamed to say that I like this thread.

Encore Westerns is a great channel. I flip that sucker on some nights when I'm trying to go to bed.

    Best western ever made: Tombstone.

Runner Up (even though its not set in America): Quigley Down Under.

Magnificent Seven was pretty good too, what I saw of it. The sequels seemed like stupid rip offs though.
