TLDR: The Sixers have swap rights for the Kings 2017 pick and their unprotected 2019 pick. They also have the Lakers 2017 pick if it lands outside of the top three.
Serviceable? He's a three time all-star and averages 24.5 points a game. There's like two shooting guards in the league that are better than him tops.
Locker room cancer
Completely my concern with him as a player as well. The fact that him and someone who I consider to be a dirty, d-bag of a player (Wade) publicly called out young players on the team instead of being leaders in the gym/locker room speaks volumes about him.

i'm concerned it'd be a problem that isaiah seems to really relish his new-found star status, and not sure how throwing butler in would affect the team dynamic

I'm pretty excited about it. Nothing like winning the trade deadline by doing nothing.
Hinkie we didn't deserve you.

i'm confused. i thought the kings' 2017 pick goes to chicago unless its outside the top 10
does philly ALSO have swap rights?
e: huh. i guess it's both top 10 protected to the bulls and also swap rights to philly. did not know you could have it owed to multiple teams like that.

I didn't either but they're definitely going to be among the team's worst with Boogie being shipped out and Rudy Gay out for the season.
I'd rather have Noel, who is young and has upside, over the trash they gave up to get him.
In a vacuum ok but what's the long term strategy here for Dallas or is it still "be mediocre forever?"
They need a post-Dirk plan, and I assume this is the first part of it. They got a good young player without giving up any players of value, and given how bad Dallas is at drafting I'm not sure giving up a pick is a huge loss.

That trade makes no sense to me but especially for Philly.
I like the trade for Dallas.1-18 protected means that even if we push for the 8 seed we aren't giving up that pick in this years deep draft class, Anderson has had a pretty crummy sophmore season after a promising rookie year, and honestly fuck Andrew Bogut. Noel still has a year left on his rookie deal before becoming a restricted free agent, so we get at least a year of him + Barnes (who has honestly been phenomenal for us all year, completely blew away my expectations) + however much Dirk has left in the tank.
Fuck tanking, despite how fucking awful we are this is my favorite Mavs team in years, and adding Noel only makes them more fun to watch.

Kupchak also relieved of duties.
Magic will be making GM decisions? Really?
I'm behind whatever it takes to keep the Lakers irrelevant for another decade.
I have my doubts Butler is the problem in Chicago. They've had on and off administrative issues for the last decade.

No see they already hired kobe's former agent, who will totally be ready to master the front office in less than 2 days
They might have been better off without the hires they actually made.
The tiniest of Woj bombs, but still...
lebron's both a part owner of liverpool and gm of the cavs
Assuming that pick doesn't convey, that's not a great haul for Noel.
I mean, if it's not a great haul you can probably blame the fact that the Pelicans got Boogie for nothing. That sorta thing has a ripple effect.
EDIT: and they are likely flipping Bogut, I just read
Also, there's no way that pick doesn't turn into a 2018 1st rounder, even if its lottery protected
if the Mavs give him a lot of minutes with Dirk and Barnes he can become a great player
