Thanks to his dad's big fat mouth Nike, Under Armour, and Adidas aren't signing Lonzo Ball
Last week, Nike consultant George Raveling, at SportsBusiness Journal's World Congress of Sports, called LaVar "the worst thing to happen to basketball in the last hundred years."

Adam Morrison breathes a sigh of relief

I am desperate for the sixers to draft anyone else because I don't want to deal with that guy.

The entire big three is still under contract. They are going to get a lot of trade offers

When's the last time a playoff series had both teams losing the majority of their home games?

The Bulls Celtics series. Chicago lost all of their home games and Boston lost two of three of theirs.

Oh yeah, forgot that happened this year. I had been browsing back through NBA playoff records looking for other such occurrences but I used last postseason as a starting point instead of this one.

Seems like it's usually a lot rarer than it was this round.

I'm pretty sure Paul and Griffin aren't? Or they at least have player options.

Both have player options, yes. Most of the free agents this offseason have player options.

But when you're a superstar, you don't pick up player options. If you're staying, you sign an extension, if you're not, you decline the player option.

So anyone with a player option this offseason (which is most of them) will guaranteed opt out of it, even if they plan to immediately turn around and sign an extension.

The only actual UFAs this season who could be called superstars are Curry and Durant.

Lots of very good players this year though.

Yeah I must have misread sportrac and didn't realize there were early termination options.

It would be great if one team in the east could push Cleveland just a teensy bit.

I was convinced LMA would play up to his potential now that it wasn't Z-Bo and Marc Gasol banging on him. He has to get his head right.
