along with fisk's line about meeting matt a few months ago, we know he saw news of the punisher not that long after being incarcerated, suggesting the gap between seasons is also not that long

AoU rewatch continued - the point where Tony tells Rhodey to continue evacuations and everyone else to meet him at the chapel would have been the perfect opportunity to drop an "Avengers Assemble" instead of the "Avengers - time to work for a living" that we got
edit: and I want to finish levelling Scarlet Witch in Marvel Heroes now
the truck accident happened january 2014, that's what she searches for on the computer
the series takes place six months after that, trish says she hasn't heard from jessica in six months since kilgrave
the series lasts like... two months? let's say july to september 2014
then daredevil 2 begins not long after, the heat wave being notable because it's september, and stretches to christmas
DD Season 1 references "the incident" as being two years ago, not three, which is when it was released
Some speculation I've seen, which might be accurate but I'm not sure, is that while AoS and the movies mostly take place when they come out, the Netflix stuff seems to take place when it's filmed

wait scratch all that, trish says it's "a year" since kilgrave, which could refer to any point in 2015 really since people don't use that term exactly
so I guess daredevil could begin in late 2014, which makes it reasonable for people to say "two years ago" to refer to may 2012, and stretches to spring 2015
I gotta check some of the newspaper dates in the netflixes

Had no interest in seeing BvS, but I just found out I'm seeing it Easter Sunday with my family because my uncle was an extra and we're gonna see if we can see him

I believe there's an interview where the actors say that about 6 months have passed between seasons 1 and 2.
And the newspaper about
the gang shooting where Frank's family was killed was from April.

six months between d1 and d2 sounds believable
Ellison said the date.
It's in the scene where Karen is searching the newspaper archives to find out when Frank's family was murdered. Ellison comes in, reads the date on a newspaper she was looking at and talks about a gang shooting he tried to get into the papers.
Apparently when Bendis went around and asked the various writers where their characters would fall in the Civil War 2 conflict it worked out pretty evenly for the most part
Except everyone wanted their character to be the one that switches sides because of course a writer would
Also apparently the event wasn't originally made to be Civil War 2, it had a different title and the SVP of Publishing requested the name change
okay the only solid date I can find is a death report in daredevil 2.1 that dates the irish gang shooting to july 21 2015
so yeah you could say daredevil 1 late 2014, jessica jones early 2015, daredevil 2 mid to late 2015
Episode 5, about half way through the episode.
April 14th is the week the gang shooting happened.

Catching up on Jay & Miles X-Plain the X-Men, listened to one from back in October with Dennis Hopeless where he explains why Quentin isn't on the team in All-New X-Men, and I like his reason. Basically he does want him on the team at some point, but feels that not enough has been done to develop Idie/Oya's character and wants to give her some time on the team to grow without her ex-boyfriend around, as Quentin's personality tends to overshadow others.

That said, a "the old folks are letting their dumb bullshit get in the way of being heroes, let's show them how it's done" X-Book is such a perfect fit for Quire that it would be a crime if he didn't join eventually.
I mean, I didn't really find any.of those jokes funny (or think they really needed to be) but if someone did I guess the movie would be more light hearted.
I refuse to believe that you didn't think the list of stuff Cap needed to catch up on was hilarious.
But yeah.
Even the Nolan Batman movies had plenty comedic relief in them. For pacing reasons and also because Michael Caine has some great timing.

Gambit recently appeared in Uncanny Avengers which also stars Quicksilver?
Although
Runaways
.......
But he was in The Runaways, the movie about the band

Considering it's being cancelled I'm assuming no.
I fell asleep in MoS.
Right in the middle of the big major fight scene.
Just snooooore

Huh!
So this would all be concurrent with AoS season 2 then.
Looking at the preview it actually shows Pleasent Hill post-Shield control so I might get it just to be a completist.
There was a thing with Gambit and Quicksilver in Serval? Some suit with a cat emblem. White and yellow.

They seem to be taking place when the shows are actually filming, which is probably convenient for a couple reasons

Still wondering what impact this will have in the second week!
