so looking at ReCore's store page and a couple of things jump out at me. first the game is only £30, a good bit cheaper than the usual AAA price-point. perhaps a hint at it being a somewhat shorter affair? also reading the description gave a little (non-game)detail i've not seen elsewhere, pre-order and you get Banjo-Kazooie; Nuts and Bolts for free.
i just assumed it was gonna be one of their bigger titles but i guess not. the price point is odd though, higher than the more expensive indie titles but still a bit shy of lower AAA price points.

Well just because they're targeting that price point doesn't mean it'll be a short/small game.
Few games hit that 39.99/49.99 mark though for sure; I guess because now a days you really only see AAA ($59.99 USD+) or "Indie" ($29.99 USD tops) and expectations waver for games between those points.
The level of marketing that I would expect to see for a AAA game just isn't there though. I mean, it kind of dropped off the radar post E3 2015?

it could be MS just playing around with different price points, absolutely. was just something that struck me since, as you say, we don't often see console games hit release at that price range.
Aye, the only new digital game that I've seen not at 59 or 29 and under is Alekhine's Gun, which... is a game that I'm not sure I want to buy (been watching its price for a while). It seems to be a Hitman type came set (according to its description) during the cold war era, but gameplay videos have like, Nazis. Could be flashbacks or something? But yeah. It's $49.99 USD.

Ori and The Blind Forest was a tentpole release with incredibly substantial AAA-polish content and that shit was about 20-30 dollars.
Recore looks like it has some potential. I was kinda surprised at how many people said they were looking forward to it based only on that short teaser from last year. Guess I won't have to wait very long to find out if it's actually good.
I was thinking about playing Dead Rising 3 and State of Decay now that I finally had an XBO, but I guess I'll just skip them entirely for the newer, better versions.
DR3 is a lot of fun and can be had for pretty cheap used most likely. The only knock against it is, like DR2, the rather boring protagonist. Still, you can make some really ridiculous and fun to use weapon combos.
Yeah, there's still 6 months to go before DR4, pick up DR3 on the cheap if you're itching for some zombie smashing fun times now. It's pretty great, and so is the Hyper Turbo EX Arcade DLC thing.
Everyone has a price. Throw enough gold around and someone will risk disintegration.
Combo of Frank West and Willamette is enough to get me all nostalgic for DR1. No zombie game has soaked up as much of my time as the first game, save for maybe the Left 4 Dead games.

There was an IGN interview with the DR4 devs where they stated no timers, but a screenshot on the XBL store shows an objective with the color coded time bar behind it =/

I still haven't finished Dying Light. I'll probably play that if I have a zombie itch to scratch before DR4 launches (plus all the non-zombie games I need to finish too).
Yeah, I just don't like the direction they took the story in for that game. (being vague for spoilers sake, but I'm sure you guessed it) Not saying the franchise is ruined or anything, but I wasn't fond of that.

The last do-rag on Sera died the day the Locusts were defeated by burning imulsion or whatever. It just soaked up too much of their blood from all the chainsawing.

I want to know why the Locust Queen was an old human-y type lady and not an old locust-y type lady.
She's likely the descedant of the scientists who likely bred the locusts as part of an experiment to observe the effects of immulsion mutation.
As I recall, even the in-game cast comments on how weird it is that she looks completely human (and can speak in normal prose with them) in her first appearance.
Supposedly there's a Gears 2 collectible that references a human/locust hybrid that was immune to imulsion sickness, so maybe that's her and as close as we get to a confirmation.
Also please spoiler whether the princess is in another castle.
lol, tbf GoW 3 is in BC... and even though the ending of GoW 3 is pretty much a given from GoW 4's framing, marketing etc... the specifics may be a surprise for someone?

It appears to be a rare b-teir game in an era of only AAA and indie games.

DR3 also has Co-op (which I have yet to play)

Firstly, Here..
Secondly, what? What makes you think that?
Pretty sure that's Marcus, note the Scar
Also, it was his voice guy in the video.
edit: nevermind, I think I guessed it.

So yeah, it's Papa Fenix.
