I think I've used almost all of these if you've played against me. What this video is missing is that you can also get that headstomp stuff off of non-quickrise/CC sweep OR a 4f safejump. And that the stomp x1 j.mk can both crossup, fake crossup (crossup, land same side), and same side. And it's missing her IA stomp stuff, with IA stomp into same side legs or crossup.
Also that video doesn't show her max damage vtrig combos. She can do juggles that are literally Marvel. Of off air to air j.mk she can do ia stomp x2, falling j.hp, ia hk legs. Or do b+hk (1 hit) ia stomps x2, falling j.hp, ia hk legs. They do like 350+ damage meterless and she can confirm off of basically any anti-air into st.hp super consistently.
There's a reason why everyone thinks Chun is the best character in the game. Decent health (more than Karin/Cammy/Sim and same as FANG, and with 50 extra stun). Great walkspeed/dash. The most and some of the best footsie options. 3f cr.lp that leads into BnB. BnB that leads to vortex. Safejump setup that can also be a basically un-seeable mixup that leads to vortex. Instant overhead that leads to another mixup. IA legs that allows her to beat jumpouts/throw/late tech and lets her start her vortex and is neutral on block. Vtrigger that totally negates about half the casts's wakeup options. Vtrigger that gives her more damage in her combos AND gets her convert off of air to airs and anti-airs in a fucking ludicrous way. This character is a good character. They could fucking take away 1/3 to 1/2 of her options and she'd still be solid.

the moment chun leaves the ground i just start dping until the rage fades i know nothing of her cryptic midair movements
she is mysterious, like the moon, and her aerial occultations must be met only with the fist of dragons
Anyone thinking chun needs banned or nerfed is a tit
She's the best char, yes. But not by a very wide margin. She's not winning tournaments because the people who are winning aren't playing her. There's no real reason for any of the players who have the skill to realistically crush a major to play Chun over whatever character they like
And that's what I love about V. You can play whoever you want at whatever level you want. No one is stuck climbing an unclimbable mountain because they're a Dee Jay fan.
it's delayed backdash instead of delayed tech to beat the command grab
seems like a horrible idea tho because if alex does dash after forward throw/ powerbomb you want to mash lights, not backdash and potentially get hit by st.hk or st.hp or w/e
Shameful pursuits and utterly stupid opinions

Well...it adds another layer to the mixup at least.

Yeah. Well it's not really delayed because dash input has 8f leniency so you can dash earlier than the fuzzy jump/late tech and you dont do anything if you block the meaty. But definitely yeah, you're plus on dash after fthrow, you should wake up jab every time. Same after powerbomb.
Well...it adds another layer to the mixup at least.
but alex dashing after f.throw/powerbomb is never a real mixup he is at least -2 (against quickrise). literally only option he has to beat mash lights is dash super
i guess you can make case that it's hard to react to dash vs elbow and you remove the option of dash powerbomb to catch you sleeping but it opens you to other options (and a jumpback OS would work better but the timing window would be tight)

The elbow vs dash is harder to react to than it seems, the animation is similar, but you're right. If you know they're dashing, use wakeup button. But fuzzyjump loses to cmd grab unless you do it early instead of the usual timing.
Of course even eating powerbomb after fthrow isn't the end of the world either since Alex can't get pressure off that.
meaty elbow/dash up powerbomb after powerbomb is like a really loose, sloppy 'mixup' anyway and we have better things to do with our kds
it's probably better to quick rise and take the meaty elbow (which pretty much just gives alex chip and puts you relatively close but neutral) instead of not quick rising, which lets alex setup meaty lariat and force an additional mixup if you block
the throw vs meaty mixup off of not quick rising would be harder to react to - dash powerbomb is 25f iirc so it's in the range where you could react to it, but if you don't quickrise he'll be in your face with no dash and you have to guess
i guess you could test to see if the alex can time their meaty lariat and do no quickrise + wake up buttons but.. .

after powerbomb he'd put you in the same situation. i haven't checked but i assume that charge time isn't an issue (powerbomb animation is long enough) that alex gets to threaten meaty elbow / dash throw again

Yeah definitely quickrise, I don't think there's a situation where it's better not to quickrise against any command grab. Capcom literally made the game this way.

Yeah but this situation isn't that threatening in theory anyway especially because waking up, you have a lot of options you can vary yourself. It's not like getting put into stun threat with huge damage.

It is such bullshit.
About fucking time.
That said I wonder how the ranks are gonna shift.

Has a chun won a major tournament yet?
Every character in the game has a counter to iall.
Instant head stomps isn't a problem if your footsies are on point.
She still needs to use meter to have an invincible reversal.
It sucks fighting against her, but I just don't think she's exactly ban worthy. Not while infiltration is still alive and bodying everyone with Nash.
There have been far cheaper characters in games far less balanced that people let rock.
That said...I'm pretty sure she will see a few nerfs here or there around balance update time.
Also ia legs isn't what makes her stupid its moreso that she can do everything and she still has jank.
