My mechanics aren't up to the task or something. And she undeniably takes practice and feels different than other adcs.
Vayne is the champion that tilts me like no other because I hate that I can completely shit on her in lane and it doesn't matter (or like, often it does matter, but I only remember the times where she made a comeback anyway because they were so infuriating).
Yasuo is a champion I ban because he is simply not someone I can usually deal with if he gets ahead. Somehow worse than other fed assassin types.
She functions almost identically to any other AD, she just loses more DPS moving than other AD's to make up for being so much more mobile in fights. It's just click to attack and click where yiu want to move which is...what every single champion does already. She just does it at a fixed distance every time.
Hm, I just don't think the feel is the same, and I can't say why. Mostly my problem is just that I haven't played too many games with her, so I have *no* concept of when an E is going to kill someone, and because of this can't judge all-ins well at all and then can't take advantage of her strong laning. I also never got used to needing to rend 2 minions to get the mana refund and as such never developed a good cs'ing rhythm. But the movement just does feel so weird to me and I'm always still mid-jump when I wish I were auto'ing, or I misclick and jump in the wrong direction.
Now I want to go play some Kalista! Maybe it's time to have some fun getting reacquainted with Kalista and Draven and take a break from the usual Sivir/Caitlyn/Jhin.
Okay, that felt good, finally got a win with NuYorick. Ended up laning against a Pantheon and just played safe until he overextended, and then oh hey ghouls and ult and wall and minions melted his face.
And then kept him on the back foot until my Zzrot pushed the tower down for the first tower kill.

Is it weird that because of personal experience with police brutality, I have a hard time watching stuff like this? From the comments on reddit it seems like it's just on Vi in general and memes, so I'll still try to watch it, but I won't lie, I get anxiety when I see a video titled like that.
Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.

Yeah, it is not in good taste as a joke title, certainly.

Have they patched Kalista?
As of last week she was still broken I believe so NOT a good time to try/practice her.
As in her passive is actually broken and fails constantly. There's a reason you don't see any of the high end ADC mains playing her now and why they say she sucks.

I ended up playing Draven instead and now I just want to play Draven forever.
Was playing normals against Karthus support and at first was annoyed because he had indicators for skittle placement and then realized "I'm Draven" and just ran at him with axes until he died.
We all knew it was coming, after Draven Draven and Teemo Teemo, we get Bard Bard.

Who cares about tons of skins, we got details about the assassin update! (And a livestream soon!)
And oh boy, the new LeBlanc.
Mimic's R -> R is a new ability: LeBlanc creates a clone anywhere on the map. That clone runs toward the nearest enemy champion and casts a fake version of the most recent spell LeBlanc cast before creating the RR Mimic. This has a separate cooldown from the ult itself.
No shame in saying this will get me more than once.
e: Talon update:
TLDR; Like Yasuo E, but for terrain.
E can now jump over terrain/turrets/player created terrain. Has a low, 2 second cooldown, but puts a section of the terrain itself on a LOOOONG cooldown.
It has a max range, but it's pretty long (~800 or so)
Holy shit they did it. A tanky support item that actually lets supports tank instead of just being a giant ball of stats that assassins might take instead.
Kind of want a Secret Service Leona and Braum skin set. GET DOWN MR. PRESIDENT

When was Force of Nature even removed? After season two? It took me a few minutes of thinking before I could even remember what it did.
I must have been playing this game entirely too long, because I remember it pretty well.
I knew it had movement speed and magic resist but I forgot about the max HP regen. Their argument for its removal is that it suffered from split identity, that it did both a fighter's job and a tank's job or something along those lines.
I think it was busted on Singed, wasn't it? Either way, I had started playing near the end of season one - Talon was being teased and Skarner just came out (or the opposite, if Talon came first) so I didn't have a TON of time to actually learn it by the time it was removed.

And if you haven't seen the other major support item added (so far), you can also die and call in an orbital strike because fuck you, lasers.
The fact that it's also usable while dead is...really interesting. Makes picking squishier supports at least a little easier because you can still do something if you're relentlessly feeding. I feel like it's a must have item on anyone in bronze if that's the case.
Edit -
Slight Ardent buff. -10 damage/on hit but drains health instead, +5% IAS.

Oh hey the new Resolve keystone. Wonder what the cooldown on it is, if there is one.

I feel like the new support items are going to get nerfed, and quickly.
Aegis is losing it's aura (but the shield may be stronger) to kinda help make up for it. They may get nerfed but who knows, if assassins are intended to be stronger and more capable of outplays, squishier classes should have more ways of being able to deal with them as well - and supports should have fun, exciting ways to actually support.
What is actually interesting to note is how champs with invisibility in their kits are actually being nerfed. I haven't compared PBE to Live numbers but evolved Q on Kha'zix looks like it's losing damage (but it is stronger without the evolution) and his W no longer slows unless it's evolved. Akali is getting a longer cooldown on her W that now does more damage while her ult does half compared to now. Her passive is no longer a ton of free sustain; every so often her next auto restores health and the one after that does bonus damage.
I found Fiora to be surprisingly fun and fluid to play. I have a hard time using her ult effectively, but that's more on my bad mechanics than the champion. Need to play her more conservative though.
Can anyone confirm what exactly is happening defensively when she Ripostes? Wiki says it's a spell shield and it's a "parry". What is it blocking, exactly?

It blocks everything. Any attack or ability can be blocked. I've parry'd Garen ult, for one. (He was pissed). If you block a hard cc, the parry projectile will stun too, so it's great.

Yeah parry blocks all incoming damage. You can parry the ignite application, which is kinda bullshit IMO but whatever it's not game breaking just not consistent.
Also, the damage from her parry inflicts an attack speed slow on the enemy which is kind of a weird but important thing to know in certain matchups (i.e. Irelia).

I really need an adc to duo with...
When was Force of Nature even removed? After season two? It took me a few minutes of thinking before I could even remember what it did.
I'm always open to play with more people and i haven't been a part of a PA group in years.
I must have been playing this game entirely too long, because I remember it pretty well.
I should do more things with people. Daughter has taken up a large chunk of my free time, though.
