It's my fourth shop i think, and i have yet to find anything good in them: i always get skins for champions i already have skins, or for champions i don't play at all.

Man, doom bots is here after hearing about how cool it was and the discount shop thing is back, with Harrowing skins? I knew I shouldn't have checked the thread on this road trip, I really want to play now!
I think the personal shop is based on what you've played a lot recently. Since all I've played is ranked and ARAM, it's gone by my small ranked pool, all champs I've played for years and Jhin, so consequently ones I have a pile of skins for.
I forget how long ago they said it but they made the personal shop thing tailored to champs you play. The first one wasn't that way I don't think but every one since has been.
I got some decent skins but one is Project Lucian which suffers from the same issue I have with Primetime Draven - it sounds so piddly (PTD did just receive a change on how his autos sound at least) and another is Pickpocket Twitch. Which is at such a low discounted price that Project Lucian is actually cheaper than Twitch.

Doom bots do not fuck around now. I tried twice yesterday, and both times we made it to the Satan phase. Neither was particularly close after that. He and his Doom Bots rolled over our final five towers and wrecked us straight away.
Alright, first game back in a year. Picked fill. Got jungle. Playing Nunu. No idea what I'm doing, lol.
I think Nunu considered pretty strong at the moment. He got slightly nerfed, but he seems to be seeing high level play again. I couldn't really tell you why, exactly--maybe because squishy tops are back in vogue, so having a fat tank with a huge aoe control is useful if you're running Jayce or Kennen or whatever?

I just picked Nunu because he's easy to play and eat jungle monsters with, and his teamfight is very easy to understand. Went 10/3/9 in a victory, but I really got carried. I was derping around for the first 12 minutes or so trying to remember how to play this game, meanwhile our Teemo top dominated their Riven, got so strong he just double killed the riven and their khazix jungle, and I eventually derped into 2/0 in a bot lane fight and started snowballing.
My score is much better than I actually played. I was pretty awful to be honest.
Oh well, 1-0 baby. Just picking fill until I do my 10 games and see how I place.
Second game of placements I was Leona. Played terribly, almost got carried to a win but lost. I think i'm going to stick to choosing fill for these placements for now, but I can't play support every game. Just reminds me how little I enjoy the role.
I think I might do a Star Guardian Jinx cosplay for PAX east in March. There are a bunch of finicky little star+ribbon details, but the basic stuff seems relatively straightforward, and I think there aren't any accessories requiring specialized construction (my barrier to cosplaying Jinx was always how on earth would you even begin to make the guns, but if the guns are just in animal mascot form, problem solved.) I guess on one arm she has a gauntlet that is maybe something other than fabric, but that seems fairly do-able.

If you don't enjoy support then don't pick fill!
Queue times in mid Gold for Top/Mid (two of the more desired roles I think) are ~3-5 minutes on average. Not that terrible.

I played a game of Sona that reminded me how support can be fun, but I still don't care for the role. I figured the queue times would be trash if I didn't include support as a 2nd choice or pick fill, but I think I'll just deal with the queue times and queue ADC/mid or something.

Edit - alright they just Ashe arrow MF ult gibbed a flashless Zyra (they forced it before minions spawned). I feel like it's more of an early game pick and Zyra will outscale it but it is a somewhat annoying slow at least later on?

Colossus shield stacks PER enemy champion nearby. I'm going in, boys!
Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.

Wow. The first semifinals matchup is a must watch, even for any one who just watches now and then. Start at game 1 and go. I don't think the finals match will live up to that series.
I just got called a troll by my teammate for taking his kills when he was jhin and I was zyra. Like I'm sorry I do too much damage and you can't keep up. I ended the game with most kills/damage/wards/money in a 22 minute surrender. Some people just don't appreciate being carried :P

IT'S HAPPENING AGAIN. ROX opened the pandora's box of Miss Fortune support and now it just seems like routine to run it.
Like, I understand, that someone like Trynd, "wins by splitpushing". But when the other lanes are behind, and the enemy team has a very fed ADC, and we win every teamfight with Trynd and lose them without him, doesn't it behoove Trynd to well, stop his splitpush, which is having very limited results (zero towers actually taken)
and just group up with us so we can win fights, and THEN get objectives?
I mean, this is Bronze.

I get a strong feeling that how much damage you deal is taken into strong consideration based on time, too. And probably something like damage per gold spent. If you get fed as fuck but only deal 10k damage in a twenty minute game you aren't really...doing a lot. I think there are a lot of factors taken into consideration beyond the few that immediately come to mind.

Honestly, I find the best way to deal with such people is to just stay close to them and secure their "split push". It's not a perfect solution and it probably will lose you some objectives, but you might gain some too.
This mentality tends to show up a lot among Trynds and Nasus players and there's only so much you can do about it. The good ones at least groups when they feel ready for it, though it might be too late by then.
