At least someone actually found a reason to equip mobile cover.

Mobile cover is actually interesting in Falcon Lost when doing it legit anyway if you're down in the pit. Making yourself some good cover to plug up against the rush can be very important.

100% this. Two high sp high fire arms agents with the combo of mobile cover, Smart Cover, pulse and support station is ridiculous for hard mode. The Smart Cover and mobile cover damage resistance offset by the regen is close to God mode.

So how about those Mechanix® Original® Covert Gloves? Despite its imitators, The Original® Covert glove remains in a category all its own. Tried, tested and proven for over 20 years, it provides the perfect blend of flexibility and protection. The Original’s durable synthetic leather palm and breathable TrekDry® back-of-hand combine to create the ultimate tool for hardworking hands. A new tapered TPR closure and increasingly stronger hook and loop provide a secure fit to the wrist. With a gamut of practical uses, it’s no surprise that The Original® is the most recognized and most frequently worn work glove by anyone with a toolbox or collection of unique skills.

But when they talk about shooting people without due process of law I kind of wanted to yell.

Yeah they make a few good points but "oh my god you're killing citizens!" isn't one of them

yea since its a game you are correct every red tag will shoot you if you walk close to them. And technically the people I saw down the street crouched down would have shot at me first if I had agro'd them but they each got one between the eyes before they could do anything. The game says they are bag guys, we know they are just loot pinatas but the context of the whole thing is what raises eyebrows, as I mentioned above I can shoot them in the head before the game does anything, making me appear as some sort of nutter who blows away civilians on the street. Personally I would have thought it better if the Division had the "rioters" blend in with the rest of the civilians and have them flagged as green until you go past them or turn around or something then they attack.

I think I must be broken internally because everyone is throwing around terms like "profiling" and "due process" and all I see are alien ships slowly marching their way toward the bottom of the screen while I frantically try to stop them by shooting indiscriminately with a beep-boop gun until they disappear.

I dunno what race of alien beasts those were or if I offended anybody in the process. I don't really think about it. Just gimme my loot so I can go blow up that other group of bad guys over there because the game says they're the things you shoot at so that's what I shoot.

Look we've been through this. Pre-self defense is a legit tactic the the world if the division.

You telling me those agents aren't going to gun me down if I open that supply drop they were going for? We both know they will, so let's cut to the chase and get right to the part when I'm smacking the back of their head as they bleed out in a pool of thier own feces.

I like arriving as a third party to a supply drop, letting the second group rogue on the first, then killing the second punishment free and then picking up the supply drop. :3

I like extracting during the supply drops because the people who like ganking solo players are all going to be rushing the supply drops and killing each other which means I can extract without having to worry about four people running up to me and yelling slurs in an attempt to get me to go rogue :P

Anyone else a little worried about the fact that the only gs204 weapon blueprints so far have shown up on dark zone vendors while the BoO only got pre-rolled crap weapons at insane prizes. The cost of those dz blueprints is also fairly insane if you look at how little currency the mobs are dropping right now.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they're relegating all the high lvl weapon blueprints to the dark zone. I guess they just really want people in there all the time.

And there's no way I'll do that. The dark zone is fun in short bursts only and generally no longer than it takes to get the free 7500 XP from the daily.

I think my time spent with this game is just about done until after all the DLC drops. There's too much grinding and the payoff doesn't seem worth it because I'm not a glitch abusing cheater.

Fighting a group of exploiting double Rez rogues is frustrating at first but feels oh so good once you break them and are killing them 2 at s tint over and over as they throw themselves at you in a futile attempt to restore thier Epeen

Smart Cover is so OP. Yes I'm alone ahead of my group why don't you rush me. Oh your bullets do nothing and bid my crew is uploading on you as well but you don't have Smart Cover. That's a shame.

I actually played some more this weekend to finish off the weekly.

I just need to do a challenge mode mission and I'll have completed the achievements that I feel like bothering with... the rest being the dark zone ones.

Here's something that pisses me off. You go to craft a blueprint and when you view the 'selected blueprint' it gives you all the stats, including the 'mag', which in the case of my Custom M44 shows '9'. So why when I roll the fucking thing do I get '5'? It doesn't say 5-9. It says '9'. Wtf is this '5' shit?

Likewise the Vector BP shows 'Mag 39' yet when I rolled it I got '20'.

Is this broken or is it supposed to be like this?

They really seem to be trying to make the DZ happen. I appreciate that the daily DZ mission makes ranking up slightly less of a pain, but it's just really not a fun place to be in for many people and no amount of rewards is going to change that.

Yeah it's broken, it's been like that since launch. I think it shows the mag size + the % of whatever magazine size mode you are currently holding in your equipped weapon.

In some respects it's useful since it lets you compare what you'll get with what you'll have without having to remove all mods from your current weapon beforehand but I really wish it was a toggle between displays to show base result and result with mods.

From what I've been able to tell, all kinds of stats are broken in their preview display. Some things give you the base numbers, some give you numbers with your current gear, some give you numbers with current gear but not talents, some give you the values for your currently equipped talents rather than the talents on the gear you are looking at, some give you the values for where the talents currently are rather than what they normally are (for example, if you have the talent with "First three bullets have x% increased critical hit) it may preview without that talent, and then display DPS numbers with that talent when you equip the item).

I got a 31 he socom m1a off a rogue yesterday. And a nomad backpack off another.

The talents were meh but I think I can probably make it work if I don't spam it. Probably solid for pve, but m44 explosions is still king.

Then how are people running the M44 with 20 rounds? Or have I misheard that?

  • SatsumomoSatsumomo Rated PG! Registered User regular
I think you misheard, because base RPM and mag sizes are a set value for each weapon.

    Steel Angelydejin
  • OakeyOakey UKRegistered User regular
Perhaps they were including One in None in that, that'd give you almost 20rounds. So next problem, my M44 scope keeps un-equipping itself, I saw something about this somewhere, is there a reason this happens or just another bug?

  • tastydonutstastydonuts Registered User regular
    it's a known bug.

but out of curiousity... how many items do you have in your inventory (including mods placed into slots).

“I used to draw, hard to admit that I used to draw...”
  • OakeyOakey UKRegistered User regular
I have a Vector with mods, M4 with mods, M44 with mods, M1A with mods and a pistol with a single mod. I think my inventory has 14 items in it and my stash 16.

  • Panda4YouPanda4You Registered User regular

5 in the mag is the M44 default standard. Those 9 you have come from mag mod bonus. Dunno if the mag size on your equipped one somehow infected the stats on the craft screen, as been said earlier the stat displays can be all kinds of fucked up?

That GS220 requirement for the next incursion is going to be a bear if you didn't exploit. I mathed it and you need a full set of 204 HE weapons and then 4 pieces of 240 Set and 2 pieces of 214 Set to make the grade. Or 5 pieces 240 Set and 1 204 HE if you really, really like a certain talent on certain slot.

I guess you can get through the door by just having the 240 Set items with bad rolls in your bag or stash to get your character score up but wear different items, but your theoretical stat max will be lower than expected.

It's WoW raiding from 10 years ago.

You need to grind the previous raid (incursion) to get the gear necessary to do the new raid (incursion).

How....how do people not know how to run Warrengate on challenge mode at this point? We got abandoned (by a guy on my friends list too, to rub it in) during the timed section and had to bail because the dude got frustrated that we failed a couple of times. Reason we kept failing? He decided he needed to be rolling around in the middle of oncoming waves like he was PvPing while the rest of us were kiting upstairs. It's like this game attracts complete jackholes...

I did Warrengate Challenge Mode because last night was the first night that all of my friend were finally over 140 gear score. This was my first successful challenge mode, and I am really happy with it. It probably took us 2+ hours to complete, but we had a few breaks in there as real life interrupted us.
