one of the things that I think is really good in my relationship is that boy and I have the same reaction to losing in league
it is hysterical cackling and increasingly desperate and foolhardy plays
we are both very calculating (if not very good) players and we try really hard and think about strategy etc. but when it becomes clear we're losing and there is naught to be done it is just Time For Nonsense
we don't like surrendering we like to fail spectacularly if we are going to fail

But i have two reactions to losing in mobas.
Not caring and just try to play better.
Making a vendetta verse a specific character and spending the rest of the game making sure that character's life is pain to the point they see me they start running.
Doesn't matter if I die. That person will die. Over and over and over again.

i actually haven't played with a full 5 man group of my friends in like 3 months
i just stopped inviting the lesser skilled people, as horribly elitist as it sounds, because it's better for them and better for me
they're not getting put into matchups where they've got no fuckin' chance
i'm not disappointed in them for being unable to feed
now my skilled friends and i can just get mad at randos
because always get mad at randos
boy is a pretty decent jungler (at least compared to most random people I play with lmao) and sometimes he'll end up taking one person on the other team out more than the others and they'll get real mad
one time had someone who decided he was being "picked on" and demanded that boy "1v1 him" and was being dead serious
boy continued to kill him from the shadows as these nerds had like no vision, not responding in allchat, but being certain to kill this one dude any time it looked like he was going to get even remotely close to doing something useful for his team
