why does no one ever report ghosts from a really long time ago?

like, roman ghosts or cromagnon ghosts

do ghosts have a shelf life?

why was no one ever hitler in their past life?

I am pretty sure I could find a ton of people claiming to have been Hitler in their past life quickly thanks to google.

Why do ghosts always haunt these old houses where someone drowned in a bathtub; but in all these battlefields, sacked cities and death camps where hundreds of thousands died terrible deaths there's nary a peep. I think there may be some sort of government conspiracy at work here.

Some true believers theorize you don't find many ancient ghosts because the dwellings and places they called home have fallen into ruin or have been destroyed and these unattached entities, being so different from modern humans simply can't bridge the psychic gap between the two worlds.

Basically it's like that episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark? where no one could see or hear the kid at all

Demons are chaotic evil they don't give a fuck.
It's devils that are the rules lawyers.

Also Dark Souls 1, a game I have owned since 2013, has finally clicked with me too. Never got out of Burg before, now I've rung the top bell and got past the freaky boss in the depths and am learning to hate blight town.

It's weird how 4 years of comments here and there have stuck with me. I knew about the start of the Capra demon fight, how to get the Drake sword, about weight and motion and that poise was important (though I looked up how they worked exactly)

    it isn't.

    oh man

boss dude calls me "hey did you see that email I sent"

"yeah I saw it, shouldn't take too long to take care of those items, they're basically bullshit questions that don't affect anything"

"ok cool can you get on that now"

"yeah sure when do you need it by"

    "before you leave"

    ...

and then I nearly lost my shit at him before he clarified he meant before I left for my San Antonio trip this coming weekend and not before I left today, which happens to be my birthday and I planned to leave in time to celebrate with my kids

idk I think I need a new job im just predisposed to fighting over shit now and assuming the worst

Because they haunt the people who killed them or the relatives of the people who killed them, not the place where they were killed.

The Magicians continues to be a show that I am loving
Evil wizard is casting a spell because he spotted Elliot, none of them have a hope of casting any battle magic in time

Wizard suddenly is shot in the chest

Margot says "What, I brought a gun"

It's just so utterly unexpected because in every previous episode they've always used magic, it'd be like if Hermoine shot Voldemort

The radius of the inner circle is less than the radius of the outer circle, so the two circles (inside and outside of the track) when measured against each other, produce an illusion that one is longer than the other.
