I think I actually heard it first described this way by Phil Kollar on twitter, but it doesn't surprise me to hear that other people have come up with that term independently.
I'm actually making fairly good progress and didn't have to restart my game. I just beat a boss who rambled about fire and stars or something before the fight began. His death quote was this:
Salt and Sanctuary is pretty rough. Restarted a few times with different classes until I settled on trying to beat the tutorial boss. Holy hell doing that gives you one heck of a boost, salt-wise. Wasn't too tough once the pattern was down either.
I still suck at parrying, though. That's one thing that doesn't change even outside of Dark Souls.
For anyone that is interested in trying out the new King's Quest game, episode 1 is free on Steam now. I forget who it was but someone in here (I want to say akajaybay)was singing some really high praises for the first episode so it sounds like FREE is a very solid price.
My favorite thing about the King's Quests games has always been the titles.* So glad to see the tradition continuing.

And the Dangling Participle.
So as a family my and my siblings played all the old games. When my little sister went to the north pole she asked what I wanted. I told her iceberg lettuce. She brought me back a piece of sea ice with the lat and long of were she got it.
I still have yet to beat the new 1. I should get on that, I didn't realize they were up to 3 chapters now.
Is there a way to add a collection to flag me when it gets on sale?
Do you mean a multi-game package? If so, sadly I don't think so. Like the Blood Bowl franchise package right now can't be added to your wishlist. Ditto the X-Com complete pack. Usually the component games get a sale when a bundle does, so maybe put the games on your list and take a peek when you get a notification.
Individual game + DLC will often get a standalone store page and be wishlistable, but that doesn't sound like what you're asking about?

I'm coming up to the end of Assassin's Creed Unity and while it is enjoyable in places it's definitely the worst I've played so far. I already own Rogue so I'll be playing that at some point and hope it's better. Is Syndicate any good or am I better off just writing Assassin's Creed off from now?

So this game popped up on Steamgifts this morning and I laughed pretty hard at the title: Undead vs. Plants. It's actually nothing like Plants vs. Zombies, but it also doesn't look very good.
Is Sacred 3 in a bundle somewhere right now? A ton of those floating around on Steamgifts at the moment.

Rogue is apparently more Black Flag and is fine.
Syndicate is, by almost all accounts, an excellent game.
It's a fun game! Sadly, i don't think i will ever try to get all the achievements, considering that a) that requires playing online (and almost no one plays it anymore) and b) it requires absurd amount of RNG and grinding.
Still, it get's at least 8/10 from me, just for nostalgia sake.

I'm nearing the end of AC: Syndicate myself (though on PS4 because I'm a dirty console heathen), and it's my favorite entry in the series after ACII. The differences between player characters aren't massive, but it's nice that Evie is more stealth-focused while Jacob is more combat-focused. I like being able to drive carriages around London (but not racing them, that's the one thing in here I don't really like), and the combat has just enough Batman in it to feel good but not so much of a focus on countering to feel stupid difficult like Unity does.

Valkyria Chronicles flavored skins in Company of Heroes 2.
Feels a bit weird to see it launch while pushing the PS4 remaster, but hey, free stuff.
Just need to login to CH2 to get them.
Thanks! I missed this yesterday, having some rough family stuff going on. Sorry to be so late in thanking you.
You're in a PC gaming thread. You already can play what is effectively the remaster today.

Dementium 2 HD.
If it leads to more of these, I'm all for it:
Steam Support is the worst. Seriously, the worst
Will find solution soon.
What's a name for a game where you zip around the universe/galaxy trading stuff, zooming to planets to scheme and seduce every now and then?

Kirk simulator
Kirk never wasted time trading or scheming.
Steam ID: Good Life
Ensign Redshirt was in charge of that stuff.
Uh, hello, mob planet?
3DS: 0473-8507-2652
Switch: SW-5185-4991-5118
PSN: AbEntropy
Starship action-adventure? Space exploration?
A name for such a game is Trials in Tainted Space.
Google at your own risk.

Sounds like Escape Velocity?
For all the money he gets to make that game you'd think it'd be better. At least have some more art in it.
Or more than one planet, although it has been a since I tried.

I think adding the collection to your Wishlist will do that. It told me when Duke3D went down in price by just adding it there.
*shrug*
I remembered it from a while back and figured it fit the bill. No idea what he's done with it since then.

D'oh, I should have known that. I looked at that bundle the other day and decided it wasn't for me because I had most of it.
Where's the button for "Yah can't get theah from heah?"

I'd settle for one that says "Ayuh."
