Did Injustice 2 ever add music to the stages, and by music I mean actual different stage or character themes?
Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.
From Max's stream, right? Maybe it was a glitch. The other character was inside the cube and that might have prevented the animation.
But who can tell?

MvCI looks increasingly like the half-hearted pile of half-ass that Capcom is just fine with releasing these days. After getting crapped on with their handling of SF5 and both previous MvC3 games, I really couldn't even tell them what to do at this point for me to so much as look at them anymore.
DBFZ looks solid as hell, slathered in dedication and love for the material. I've never even picked up a Dragonball fighting game but damn if that isn't getting some serious interest out of me.

Sure the ui could look more interesting, but in my opinion the models looks just like injustice/MK. Its all those shiny lighting effects. In all the videos ive watched the fights look cool and the infinity stones are all crazy. From a viewers perspective sf5 and mvci seem much easier to follow. Dbz does look good but the playable build right now is like 9 characters, which is a third of what people are complaining about for mvci.
People want to hate on capcom, but mvci fights look cool and the player select doesnt mattet because ideally im not just sitting there not actually fighting. Capcom is doing awesome other things too, like bringing monster hunter to a real console.
Overall the complaints other than incomplete models are pretty much just the fgc being the fgc, which is why so many sponsors dont want to touch it and why "anti thuggery" rules exist. The people are just toxic, and somehow even moreso than the moba community.

Yeah, nobody might be dissuaded from getting a Capcom fighting game with their shitty handling of their last 3 big-name releases and unending inability to do anything competently. It's not like a I dumped a bunch of time into MvC3/UMvC3 and got fed up with the mountains of issue there, or eventually got completely turned off of SF5 by a whole list of fuckups (starting at launching with somewhere around half of a game).
Who gives a shit if MvCI has a bunch of characters and the DB game has only a handful in comparison? The DB game looks tight and well-polished, the MvC game looks and handles like a marginally-functional wreck. The former builds hype because it shows a ton of quality, the latter gets laughs because it's a blatant wreck that Capcom is trying to gloss over.
Just having a ton of characters doesn't mean anything at all if the development quality is as poor as Capcom's regularly is.
The people complaining aren't the fgc, it's EVERYONE.
Look at any random youtube comments on any video of the game and there will be complaining. There are legitimately things to complain about.
Edit: The more I think about it, not taking gameplay into account, Injustice 2 basically did everything MVCI should have done but fucked up.
Making a sequel to a game that came out 6 years ago, step 1, make it look real good.
Have a bunch of returning characters that play the same so old fans have some of their mains back, but have a bunch of new characters to make established fans and potential new fans excited for the game. In a launch roster of 30 characters, MVCI has 6 new characters. Only 2 of those are capcom characters. That fucking sucks.
Make a sweet-looking story mode. I might throw MVCI a bone here because their story mode look like dumb fun.

I see it from both sides. There is no question there are some red flags around MvCI. There's also no question the FGC can be toxic and very prone to group think and brigading.
I'll wait and see what some of the more moderate voices like Max have to say about the final product and not get caught up in either the pro or anti capcom brigading that will inevitably happen in the FGC.
Reminder that 16 failed to kill Cell because his selfdestruct had been disabled.
But!
He ultimately killed Cell by telling Gohan how much he loved birds n shit.

DBZ invitational going on now. A lot of these people play like fight game novices but when two people match up that know a little something the shit looks dope.

Legitimately kinda blows my mind at how crazy good that art design is at perfectly capturing the style of the show. Even the freaking facial expressions when they get hit are excellent.
EDIT: Holy crap, defeating one of the previous opponent with a big enough super makes the rest of the fight happen in a giant molten crater. That is awesome.

I hope whoever made that game is proud of the horror they've made, but in a crime-against-humanity kind of way. Like they used a giant laser to carve their face into the moon, but very poorly.
I seriously can't tell what is a glitch and what is just horrifically badly-executed game design.

Menat reminds me of an SNK character, but not in a good way. Short choppy animations, projectiles spam, lots of excessive juggles, and a mish-mash dancing "fighting" style. Weird, ugly and par for the SF5 course.
Probably a win for a lot of players but just seems strange and goofy to me.

Yep, totally means the fgc is toxic. Thanks pal.

That's not a good look for a game that's a month away from release.
Anyway. This is what happens when 18 calls in 17 for an anti-assist assist.

It was the peak of the series' pretty princess dressup modes. Which I say as a good thing.
I just wish I liked the rest of the game that much.
