Worse than just not realizing you have lethal is realizing you have it, but then doing something in the wrong order so that some ability doesn't pop and you end up just missing it.
Also "That's Amazing!" is so much more annoying to me than "Sorry"

Oh god of hearthstone...I've recently ranked up using the op shaman mid range deck...I feel like I've done wrong... give me a sign if I should change my ways... *today's quest is win 5 games with shaman*.
Okay thanks God I feel much better!
Your God says share with your neighbors. Care to share your Shaman deck list?
"MNC Dover" should probably update the OP so the Standard / Wild stuff is clearer.
I agree. Typing mass amounts of anything though is difficult with my daughter refusing to sleep anywhere but my lap. Will get to it when she allows it. Soon...Blizzard Soon™.

Anyone watch the "Enter the Battlefield" MtG documentary on Netflix?
I kinda did not realize how obsessed some of these pros/semi-pros are. I haven't played MtG since the early 90's so it was a bit shocking. Also a bit shocking to realize how old Magic is now.
Oh, MtG was around in the early 90's? I didn't realize it's older than I am.

CSB time: I went to a draft last week. I hadn't played Magic in person in longer than some of the kids there had been alive.

does the pity time really get reset if you switch up the types of packs you buy? or does no one really know? just wondering.
I believe it doesn't get reset, but you have a different time for each type of pack. So you can open 39 TGT packs, not get a Legendary, but that doesn't mean your next WOG pack will have a Legendary. You may have to go through 40 of those to get your first WOG Legendary, but then you can buy 1 TGT pack and get a Legendary too.
oh, that sounds reasonable.
got a shifter zereus today, so i probably need another 35 packs for a legendary in wotg. really wanted call of the wild, but didn't get it, so i broke down and crafted 2.
guess i'll be going classic for the next 40 packs or so.
The pity timer is only the guaranteed legendary if you don't get one the regular way. The average amount of legendaries is one in 23 packs. It doesn't happen very often to actually go 39 packs without one.
As such it shouldn't affect your decision which packs to buy unless you are close to it with one type. Until you hit 30 or more packs without a legendary each type has the same chance anyway. Generally you should probably buy packs where you still want Commons or rares, because that's where the meat is.
Also note that AFAIK the pity timer has never been officially confirmed so while it was extensively proven for GvG and TGT, we don't actually have analysis for WotoG yet. (I mean it's likely that is still there but it could also be removed or changed at any time)

loyan's deck is so much fun to play compared to almost everything else out there. zoo I'm sure is as good
counting totems and overload to make your curve oh so pretty for thing from below is the bessssssssssssssst
edit - streaked to ten. I had gotten 1 or 2 streaks of a single game (as in, 3 wins in a row so a single streaked win) once with my beast hunter and once with miracle rogue
but this is like I can sleep through it.
I didn't wanna play shaman! I have it in gold already and there's lots of em on ladder but damn if it doesn't work. and I do love the class so much.
For some reason I've been stuck in like rank 17 since the new season, losing to these people doing everything in the wrong order is making me so incredibly mad. It's enough to make a man queue face shaman...

Hey, man. Right after everything dropped I went to a real bad place. I went back and played OG-modified Secret Pally in Wild.
So I basically took a long break from the game when TGT came out due to a combo of not liking some of the new dailies, not being that impressed with TGT, and Real Life. But the next expansion seems much more interesting so I guess I'm back in.
How feasible would it be to not bother buying TGT packs and just crafting what I needed? I have a ridiculous amount of dust right now and have most of the commons from that set from doing the preorder bonus. I'm likely to pick up the explorer adventure since I always enjoy those but would rather dump my gold towards Old God packs if I can.

I think it depends on what deck you are trying to play. The TGT representation is kinda low overall. I think LoE is really important for some decks though.

If you have all the commons you're probably set. The only super important high-cost card I can think of is Justicar, and she's only relevant to Warrior and Priest.

I seriously love this new meta. Fatigue/Fog Paladin is the light. C'thun decks are pretty easy wins too because I just outlast their minions, kill or humility/Heal the C'thun when he hits and then take them to fatigue. N'zoth, though, I HATE

I mean the whole deck is built around it. Letting/forcing the opponent build up their board and then wiping it and healing back up. Humility effects force them to build up their board and combined with EtC is just so juicy
edit: I seriously love EtC. Its my favorite card because no one expects it and it can ruin days
I'm stuck at 20 again. Whether I'm using the hottest netdeck, or stuff of my own creation, I keep losing way more often than I win, and I can't maintain a winning streak for more than one game. Gonna be difficult for me to hit 15 again in this month, I think.
So does anything replace doomhammer in that shaman deck? I don't know if I have enough things to dust to get a card for a deck I might not even like.
If you wanna take it more midrange-y Al-Akir can work if you have him, but not really. The magnification of Rockbiter's damage is a really big part of the deck. And also because it's 7 mana deal 16 damage just on its own.

Later he plays 2nd Gadgetzan along with a Tomb Pillager he already had on board, conceals. !!!
Double Holy Nova! SUCK IT.
Then he floods the board with minions, plays Leeroy+Blessing of Might from Xaril and lethals me.

Alternatively, I need to convince Blizzard that Zerus is super OP and needs to be nerfed.
Think about it: If any minion is ever overpowered, so is Zerus! Nip it in the bud.
Because I have four. :rotate:

Becuase your wife will find a deck to ladder with and you can't just have her getting legend while you are not in rank 5 range.
Iunno man, don't want too many four drops, or you'll draw into them all late and they won't match up well with the opponent's lategame!
I mean....a 7/7 beats a whole bunch of late game minions
