Overwatch is Blizzard's first brand new game in almost 20 years

It's not a moba

It's a class-based first-person shooter

Overwatch releases May 24th on PC, PS4, and Xbox One

Overwatch comes in two packages on PC, and only one on consoles

The special edition on PC, costing an additional $20, gives you 5 skins for a few of the characters and Overwatch-themed content for other Blizzard games, like a free Tracer character for Heroes of the Storm, or a Winston pet for World of Warcraft

    I'm super hype for more people being able to play. Pubs are cool but it'd be nice to coordinate a bit more with actual people whether it be folks here or like, my roommate. Plus like, people will be able to play the game so I can have actual discussions about overwatch! Hurray!

    I was only able to play three matches last stress test, and I am so happy that I enjoyed Zenyatta as much as I did.

    I normally never play support characters, but enjoying one in this game means that I can do awesome, and both help my team and maintain a good team balance.

    Zenyatta's a little different from typical support classes. While he certainly helps on the healing front, he can also dish out a ton of damage. Especially if you can reliably hit headshots.

    Yeah the roles in this game are pretty soft, there's some general commonalities as far as like, how fast you can expect someone to go down based on their class but other than mercy I guess most of the supports are pretty damn good at straight up killing people.

    You do not want to get hit by Symettra orbs, and Zenyatta honestly blows me up more than some of the assassin characters do. Even some of the stuff like "defense hero" is mostly a guideline, I've had people (usually politely) ask me to get off Symettra on offence, and then apologize later when I run the other team over.

    Extremely hyped for this as well! It's been kinda tiring only watching streamers from time to time; at any rate, we'll get a chance to try it this week. Oh, and if someone happens to have an extra early access key for PC, I would be eternally grateful to you :)

    Yeah, I think they were only given out if you pre-ordered before April 29th. That, and it only applied to specific retailers. :(

    I do find it hilarious that the last Stress Test weekend coincided with Battleborn's beta weekend, and the start of the Open Beta is coinciding with the release of Battleborn

    I'm downloading the PS4 beta right now

    I have never played a team-based FPS before (outside of team deathmatch in Destiny, I guess)

    I pre-ordered this based on its art style alone, which is magnificent

    If I have fun with the beta I will buy it, if not I will cancel my pre-order

    Either way I am super intrigued
