For some reason I love reading statistical analysis of why Yogg is terrible. It makes me laugh because the RNG is insane but Yogg can usually be played on an empty board and give you decent results.
I played a Yogg at 1 health the other day. It didn't kill me. In fact it cleared my opponent's board but not mine.
Unfortunately it didn't heal me so I was still dead to Doomhammer next turn, but I feel he at least tried to help me out of that hole.
Based on the stats, your card is basically an Archmage. But instead of a measly +1 Spell Power, I opted to give you a draw 3 card variant instead. Drawing from your deck would be way too strong, so I made them not only random, but from the Wild format.
At first I thought this might be too strong though, so I added the caveat of each card gaining a +1 mana cost. But after looking at all the cards that rotated out, this seemed unnecessary since you could end up with some bad draws.
Hope you enjoy it! Anyone else want a card?

Just played against a mage that was at 1 health and played yogg. he ended up casting holy fire on one of his minions to go back up to 6 while i was playing hunter. Then he just started spamming hello because he thought he was going to turn it around or something. I had a kill command in hand, and drew a quick shot, so gg wp. Love it when people who spam get the world flipped on them and they lose.

Apparently there is a thing in the new patch where you get a Shaman Murloc alternate hero by recruiting someone and having that person reach level 20. Man I wish I knew someone who didn't play Hearthstone but wanted to.

Does Blizzard still allow alts?
Not that I'd want to level to 20 again...
Yup, I have a HotS smurf laying around.

The way it reads to me is that when each of the four recruits gets to level 20 with a single hero you get a classic pack, and then when one recruit gets to 20 with every hero 20 levels total across all classes is when you get the murloc hero. So I might just do the 4 recruits with aggro shaman and grind out for the basically free classic packs.
Edit - It might also be worth it to wait until the TB gets released tomorrow to see if it's easily farm-able.

WHY DOES THROWING MONEY AT THE SCREEN NOT GET ME THIS HERO!
It says a TOTAL of 20 levels across all classes for you to get the hero.

Awesome. I might just do this then since it is 20 across all classes.
Oooo, new Arena markers show your win and loss count while in game. Too bad my opponent keeps showing up UNKNOWN.
... also, I drew my one secret on turn 3, just as I could play my Mad Scientist. Sigh. Am I just supposed to coin it out T1 all the time? I had 4 2-drops and couldn't figure out the order to play them (Twisted Worgen, Mad Scientist, Gilbin Stalker, Boneguard Lieutenant).

Ugh, yeah seriously. Where the hell am I going to find these saps?
I'd much rather have an alternate pay option.
Agreed. All the people who might play HS, already play HS or are done with HS and don't want to come back to it.
That's pretty patently untrue. This isn't Heroes of the Storm where much the same conversation was going on, but that made sense because it's a MOBA--anyone who cares about something called a MOBA has already seen it and tried it. But Hearthstone is aimed at the casual crowd; you could totally convince a couple of your cousins or coworkers to download it on their phone and play it in the bathroom and they've eventually hit level 20 and have a little random fun on the side.
I convinced exactly one person to start playing this dumb game already. It was not a fun experience. I don't regret it. But I don't think I could force it on anyone else.

I'm pretty sure the analysis shows Yogg being overall favorable, or at least neutral (kill EVERYTHING) the majority of the time. Am I misremembering that?

At 8+ spells casted, he's basically a neutral DOOM!
I think you might be able to accept recruitment invites even though you've already played. At least it didn't seem to object when I clicked on a recruitment link, though I have not logged on to the American server to see if it gave me the card pack.
If anyone wants to try and see if they can get me the hero, here's my recruitment link. It's for the European server.
EDIT: I'm sure I had played on the America server at some point, but it's making me play the tutorial. Still, with the way Blizzard handles regions we should be able to do the recruitment thing for each other.

You can get creative with what you use for the card art too, if you want. I don't imagine my avatar would really make for a good one, I mean. :P
Edit: Also I think that card is pretty strong though, like maybe too strong? It's a 4/7 body that's drawing 3 cards. Well, giving not drawing, and they're random, but that's still super strong. Ancient of Lore was a 5/5 for 7 that drew 2, for example.
Maybe tinker with the stats a bit.
I do like the concept a lot though!

Anyone have a control warrior list they're fond of playing, and a link to or tips on how to play it? Playing against aggro seems straightforward enough, but control decks and mid-range decks are wrecking me. I seem to always run out of draw, or underplay my hand to avoid that and get steamrolled. The deck itself I'm playing has a good amount of draw, so I'm the problem, not the deck.
I don't have Alexstraza, which is probably important (is that even a standard card anyway?)

Are you up for C'thun Warrior? It's like a normal Control Warrior, but better :P
I took a little liberty with your name, but really liked the idea of a Hunter card that filled the board with cheap beasts (yes, the 2/1 Giant Bees would be Beasts). At 1/5 it's tough to kill giving your opponent time to deal with the fallout. Would be disgusting played with Scavenging Hyena or Starving Buzzard.
