I'd suggest also running the 1 stamina dungeon and run through your friends, since 50 FP a pop means 4 stamina is giving you 1 friend pull. And you're getting much quicker progress on the FP trophy.

I especially recommend using lapis to expand your friend list too. The more friend summons you can do, the more and sooner the TMs you get from those units AND the more benefit you get from the random "chance to get cactuars/gil snappers from friend summon" events.

This is good advice. But I've had some people drop me as a friend, which is sad. Apparently a 220 ATK Lasswell isn't good enough for them. :(

I'm capped at 80 right now and will probably expand it to the max now that I think about it. I should probably go prune out the 'inactive' people but upon checking, the oldest is three days, so... maybe tomorrow.

Aaand now I'm up to 125 available, which is the hard cap for now. Assuming I fill that up and everyone's active, that's... 1250 FP a day~

    Edit:
Oh, I hadn't even realized the rare summons for Metal Cactuars/Gil Snappers were going on right now.

WELL THEN, guess I've got... 82 summons to summon.

Not sure if you know, but you can promote summons once they're capped by going back to their dungeons and fighting a super version of them.

No Double Hyper Wrist? Well, I lose!

46 Cyan, wielding Murasame, 2x Hyper Wrist, ATK+10% ability (alonside ATK+20% innate), & Green Beret on a 27 Ifrit.

I should get around to crafting the +8 ATK chest piece, but it needs dragon fangs and other late 2nd-island mats.

Incidentally, I was curious so I sorted the top attackers by base highest native ATK (the ATK they'll reach at max level with no equipment) and it comes out to:
    115 Cloud of Darkness (ATK+20%)
    113 Garland (Doublehand)
    111 Leo (ATK+20%)
    106 Medius
    105 Kuja
    104 Zidane
    102 Firion
    101 Xiao (ATK+20%)
    100 Celes / Miyuki
    99 Vaan (ATK+20%)
    97 Cecil
    96 Lasswell (ATK+30%) / Duane (ATK+20%)
    95 Bartz
    94 Terra
    93 Rakshasa
    90 Exdeath / Sabin (Brawl)** / Cyan (ATK+20%) / Russell

    * Doublehand - +50% equipment ATK when singlewielding Sword, Katana, Axe, or Hammer
    ** Brawl - +50% ATK when unarmed

With Doublehand factored in, Garland wins without question.

Not a single 4* or better in 13 premium pulls (10 tickets + 1500 starting lapis), but I don't think I can turn away a roll that gave me CoD, Bartz, Leo, and Edgar.

Huzzah! Exdeath is now rank 4 and actually useful beyond spamming his Limit. I suppose it would make more sense for him to be my shared unit instead of 5* Cecil, given the utility differences? I mean, Exdeath is death on wheels, and Cecil's a servicable tank/healer, but most parties don't need one, or can't bring a friend for the fights where it'd matter.

It's pretty easy to upgrade units in a week or two, depending on how the RNG treats you for awakening materials. CoD, Bartz, and Leo are all very powerful rares. It's a solid group. Definitely upgrade Fina for her Cheer skill to make that group truly vicious.

Well I told myself I'd stop rolling when I got two top tier units

So even though I didn't get a single 4* unit, after only using my 10 tickets (so I still have my 1500 lapis)

Exdeath, Cloud of Darkness, Firion, Shantotto, Rakshasa, Luna, Sabin, Cyan, and Fran, and Russell

Kind of drops off quick after that top three, but at least most of my mediocre pulls have good trusts (Shantotto, Luna, Rakshasa mainly)

That was my experience. The one tied to my real facebook has an insane time trying to find sacred crystals, and needs about 20 at the moment.

It's probably a terrible use of stamina if it was your only objective. It's a nice little bonus when taking advantage of the friend point boost event though. I also think people eventually sleep so maybe it's a good idea if it doesn't look like you are a 24/7 earth shrine spamming machine.

Kefka is a top tier mage and his trust, Ribbon, is an amazing accessory as it always is. Chizuru from what I hear gets a 6* awakening and is a top tier attacker in JP.

Chizuru is a base 4* though, so she is even harder to obtain than normal.

Golbez is apparently right at the top as one of the best mages also

Thinking I might save my Lapis for an eleven pull on the 8th

EDIT: Actually I guess he is considered to be slightly behind some of the mages that can also use white magic like Terra, but he's still fairly strong for a 5* capped character

Was musing over this, but this feels way more like real-ass FF gameplay to me than the almost puzzle-y style that FFRK has going where you have to kill everything as fast as possible while taking no damage to get a good rank.

I finally went and looked up the character list on the Japanese wikia so I know what to look forward to. I'm surprised there are no characters from 7, 8, 10, and 14. And I almost expected a few 15 characters to promote the game.
