Part 2 shouldn't release until the end of November anyway. You'll have all month to get more, and likely pick up some just clearing the story stuff up to the point where you open the chest with it (Silver chest in the very last exploration of the chapter).

WoL's currently the best tank in JP, not Cecil, though Cecil's 2nd. Kind of surprised Cecil hasn't been eclipsed by a better tank by now, but I guess his kit + enhancements just are that good. WoL being where he is isn't surprisingly in the slightest.
Rikku also has the silliest set of crazy powerful abilities, it's kind of impressive.

I haven't looked at it that in depth, but I think the thing between WoL and Cecil is that the latter is the better pure tank who can side-heal, but the former is a really strong tank AND one of the top supports, supports being a lot less common and especially 6* supports being usually kind of meh.

Cecil doesn't require you to do anything to tank. WoL ends up being "better" at tanking because he can literally eat everything, but you have to actively choose to do that for his turn.
Cecil doesn't really do much Supporting as the role is currently defined in JP. We just don't happen to have much in the way of supports, as our only top tier one right now is Ramza (and he doesn't have his Enhancements). Supports are able to stat buff, resistance buff, and tend to be able to do things like Raise or Cure/Resist Status Ailments (but not Heal as much), with supplementary damage. Or no damage in the case of Minfilia who has no offensive or healing abilities and only stat buffs, resistance buffs, or Esunas, and yet is apparently ranked 3rd for Support.
I've pretty much cleaned out the mog exchange; all that's left are the 3 most expensive star quartz, one of the most expensive summon tickets, and the two trust Moogles. I snagged all the limited 6* materials and the equipment and all the tiny things like Elixirs and such.
I'll get two more PRO clears in, I think, when my Lightnings refresh. I'll get the last Summon Ticket and sell the rest of the corn for a chunk of Gil, get that 500 Lapis trophy.
I'm pretty pleased with my power spike from this event and the cactaur dunes. Just need some good daily and ticket results out of the FF3 event.
I just realized Ingus has Full Break. That probably makes him worth using. I've no idea what the hell my team should be anymore.
Kain seems like a solid DPS still, but now I've got CoD who could 6 star, and Black Cat Lid who isn't too bad. I've got Cecil and Celes as tanky support/healer types or Garnet, Lenna, or Refia as pure healers. I've got Kefka as my mage but Arc seems comparable with dual cast. The FF3 team seems like it could replace 3 members of my team and then I'd have Cecil and Kain as the other two. Not sure if Kefka or Arc is better though.

a lot of current characters are still very good in JP once they get their 6*
WoL, PCecil, dkcecil, CoD, Firion, Garland, Chizuru, Refia are all still top tier to name a few
refia is top 3 healer, pcecil is still the best tank
dkcecil is like top 3 dps once he gets skill upgrades?
like, there is still a lot of power creep, especially with ff10 and the new tactics banners, but theres plenty of really amazing units already out
all of those are DECENT, not great but still totally serviceable
also rikku happens to be like the 4th highest rated character, so whale on that banner bro

He's a non-elemental version of Lightning. Really good, but like all the 5* base units, you'll potentially go broke chasing them.
Saw literally nobody else on banner. Four Penelos though.
But did get a spare Zidane if/when I ever finish TMR farming the one I already have (~65% and rising!).
Came out nicely overall with a Refia besides that though. Will probably do daily draws in hopes of picking up an extra Arc though.
