Ra is a tough nut to crack. He's got a fantastic high end, but his learning curve is steep. That's why other leads such as Sakuya, Kali, and DQXQ are popular right now. They have less of a match requirement and can deliver similar output. All the rainbow leads also tend to run nearly the same subs, too.
In general:
-multiple board changers
-at least one shield/tank ability (Izanami, Fuma Kotaro, Susano)
-delay
-dmg boost
For example, my typical rainbow team is: [Rainbow Lead], LKali, F/DKali, DIzanami, A.Orochi (Echidna, Sun Quan, Cao Cao)
The best way to get good at Ra is to play Ra a lot. You'll start to get a feel for the team and discover ways you can stall out a board while you set up combos. This is where Endless Corridors can help, since it's 0 Stamina and gives a bunch of floors for you to practice with relatively little penalty.
Yeah, I don't have any of those characters to use as subs. I guess right now my team would just be Ra and that Izanami, apparently. When I tried to make a team I ran into the problem of not having any six color board setups, or ways to make a color that do not get rid of another color.
Jörmundgandr might be worth getting for a Ra team. You also get jammers from his active, but he's handy if you get orb trolled. His colors (B/G) also go well with Ra's own L/R.
But to be honest, Ra is very quickly losing terrain to a lot of other leaders. With a perfect team (DKali, LKali, LKali, Isis) Ra can consistently put out 4-5 million damage but can't really spike for more than that. And that's not really that spectacular these days. I can definitely see the number of Ras on my friend list is dwindling.
You're going to have to give me an example of a proper board changer for this or something. Because he needs all five colors to work, and except for the heartbreakers everything is going to change one color into another. Full board changers only ever seem to do 2-4 colors, usually with hearts.
Mechdragon Rush in coins is some phenomenal XP (50 stam to run, three runs maximum for rank up on Legend) plus each dragon has a drop that feeds for 20K XP off color. I'm basically farming this place instead of waiting around for jewel dragons and leveling up the evolution materials for awakenings followed by the stuff I have that hasn't evolved yet. Then I can just focus entirely on stockpiling evolution materials in my box.
The viewer-only stream award has been revealed. You all recall the last one was a Super King Gold Dragon right? Well Gungho learned from that testing of the waters and they're ready to start unleashing the REAL rewards.
So now viewers are getting a Super QUEEN Gold Dragon exclusively for them!

Are the board changers that do all 5 colors and are a God or Devil.
There was that mythical+ descend dragon. Volsung I think? Also, chocobo!
Yeah, you've been playing long enough that you should have at least one fat chocobo; assuming you didn't sell or feed it off.
The riders are actually reasonable subs for a rainbow team because even though they change a color, they also heartbreak. They are specific colors, but you can work through bad boards with them in mind.
Does anyone else enjoy watching Godfest pulls on Youtube or is it just me? Would be fun to have a kind of group pull sometime with friends, though the closest I can get to that is if Spoit is also waiting until 1 AM for pulls usually.

No, because seeing people who actually have luck burnses us. And them getting gung trolled just brings up bad memories.
"Self, no, I know we have five magic stones but the June Bride collab is a massive trap. We won't pull Akechi, no matter how much we want him even if he is only 5* okay?"
"FUCK YOU I DO WHAT I WANT. WILD CARD!"
"...Okay, so, Eschamali is not Akechi so technically I was correct."
"RIDING THE INSOMNIA EXPRESS AND BUYING SOME MORE STONES CHOO CHOO."
"Stop that already! We're not rolling--oh fuck me that's Akechi isn't it."
"JUSTIFICATION! ROLLING!"
"Stop! We already got what we wanted, now there's--oh hello Satsuki. Stop that! We won't get Gadius! And that's a second Akechi isn't it."
"ONE MORE FOR THE GOLD MEDAL WOOOOO!"
"...Fine fuck it let's do this. And Ra. So let me get this straight sleep-deprived self, we just rolled Eschmali, 2 Akechis, Satsuki, and Ra in what is supposed to be a trap collab?"
"FUCK YES WE DID."
"Yeah now I can see why Spoit yells at us so often."
Changes are coming to PAD's mailing system, namely that mail will now expire after a set period of time because too many people are using it to hold their stuff and it's overloading GungHo's servers. Not sure when it'll hit NA but it's about to arrive in JP so I guess get ready to expand your box slots if you've been hoarding.

Also a lot of people who do the tournament that aren't whales have gotten kind of disillusioned with the whole thing due to aforementioned whales dominating the top spots. The pre-made team in the last tournament was an exception, because it focused entirely on player skill and not money spent.

I have been holding onto my PAL point mails cause I am already capped and the only event that is worth rolling on is the Gungho Collab machine that gave guaranteed +3 monsters that only showed up in the JP version so far.
I seem to remember the post about mail changes mentioning something about if you protect the mail, it's not affected(?). The version I read was translated via Google, so...

I don't think it's supposed to do more than that

Yeah I left them out cause they are not Gods or Devils so they do 25x instead of 100x.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
38thDoE on steam
Nah that was just them being less stingy with the free stones. Japan had dungeons instead of mail for a long time
I don't need 4 more water orbs when I already have 11 in my box, while I'm trying to find the skill delay latent tama.
let's ranking
