I had a dream last night and it involved a character who was totally not Professor X (I mean, he was a lawyer and not wheelchair-bound! Totally different!) knowing about alternate universe versions of himself, and specifically one where he tragically gave up everything he had fought for during an event called the Lambda Breach. Which involved green radioactive squid monsters.
Overwatch needs some improvements to the party system.
1) The social menu should show which of my friends are in parties together
2) It really fucks I now have a leavers penalty of -75%xp cause I keeping getting party invites and joining them.
Holy cow, yes.
Also, they need to allow oversized parties. I'd be willing to hang out in voice chat / spectating for a couple rounds if it saved me the effort of joining in on someone later, especially as, while it is awesome they find replacements so quickly, it also means the chance of joining a party in game without dead time is zero anyways.

It could work as a set of mini-series where you dump the whole cast every season or two and jump 300 years in the future, maybe? It would be really hard.

No law that says a series got to follow the same cast and storyline from beginning to end

Turns out they upgraded their "batch" machine to windows 10, the one that sends results via FTP to our server over the VPN.
This batch system used some weird rando software that was only available on windows 2000 I guess. Their IT person decided to rewrite how "it was supposed to work" and made their own software (which is good in theory) to replace it.

I used to love Dune but I don't remember it very much. Read it probably 3-ish times but maybe all between the ages of about 9-15. Props to my dad for deciding that I needed a proper sci-fi/fantasy education and having me read Dune/Foundation/LotR at a formative age, though.
