Hello, team? Are you there? Did the ghost of James Joyce get everyone? I'm sorry.
I should have been there to save you.
A magician gives you a ring that, when worn, will let you see the world as it truly is.
However, the ring will never leave your finger, and you will be unable to ever describe to another living person what you see.
And I unironically think Joyce is one of the greatest writers in the English language!
But I hate reading his shit and probably always will!

I've read Das Kapital 3 times for 3 different classes in the last 3 years
I'm fucking done with Karl Marx
ironically I just picked up a new book by Anwar Shaikh called Capitalism that is a reimagining of a lot of economic theory and is pretty good, but totally over the head of most people here I think given its technicalness

if my leadership is accepted then the deadline for recommendations (since people still want to make them) is tomorrow when I'm off work, which is like, 6pm eastern

I have never been more nervous about a contest between werewolf romance and hard boiled detectives in my entire life.
edit: seriously though in like 3 minutes i'm just going to pick from the tied 1st places based on which book is cheapest.
edit 2: Alright, well. OK then. I guess the die is cast. I'll start up a new thread so that Raijin doesn't have to edit the thread title every time. This is democracy people. Werewolf Romance. I'll post it as soon as I get the go ahead from the management.
