I have been very tempted at trying out GGXrd. I have never competitively played a GG game and it looks like this one may have some more lifespan to it.
Haven't actually looked at the characters, though. My other negative from Xrd was that the only characters I liked were Axel and Slayer, so...yea.

yeah I was only ever a spectator for that game and it was deflating, not just because of the time they take but because of the way they killed momentum by pushing the characters away from one another. It's complete anti-hype, to me
What was cool about it to you? Do you just like bursts or was the actual wager thing interesting enough when playing?
I liked that it was a burst, but only available on last round, I liked the meter wagering a whoooooole bunch, and I dug the fact that they took a few seconds. Even if you lost or broke even, you bought a couple moments to recompose
I wouldnt be upset if they were gone in 2 either, so maybe indifferent is the better word
