after about 5 minutes I can already tell that my reaction time will never be good enough to do combo breakers, so rip to that idea
No no. Once you learn to recognize the different levels of auto-doubles by the speed of the move, number of hits and sounds they make breaking becomes much easier. Don't throw in the towel yet.
Plus, whenever I break a combo, it's almost always because I know my opponent more than I'm seeing things on reaction. For example, as Glacius I like to hit f+MP a lot, so a lot of people break M on me. @Perrsun loves Riptor, so I tend to favor breaking H on her flame breath trait.

@Paladin , the Sterilite hitbox stopped responding to triangle button today. What happened to your legendary build quality!?
To be serious, though, I haven't opened it up yet. Do I need to do anything specific to keep it from disintegrating, or can I just unscrew the top and pop open the box?

You don't need to unscrew anything. Use a flathead screwdriver to pop open one of the lid locks, and the other should come off easily.
Edit: look at the latch for the plastic lid. You can't remove it by yourself since it's buried under the wood panel, but if you take a flathead screwdriver and insert it into a small space under the latch, you can pry it open, and the other one lifts off easily. You can close it by latching the lid again. It might be the easiest case to mod ever. I forgot to show you this before.
If you've already started to screw off the top, screw it back on. The screw holes may have been a bit warped and require some tension to realign; the box can take it.

In nearly every tk you get arcade mode, vs. mode, survival, a bunch of ridiculous customization parts, and some rotten bullshit like Tekken Force, or Devil Within, or Scenario Campaign
Minus the rotten bullshit, T7 arcade is a complete experience, and I'm gonna be disappointed if there was a nearly 2 year hold on console release just for Devil Within 2: the Return of Scenario Campaign

you can play online in the year-long beta and then update the full thing when the campaign is done and your volcano is ready to throw people into
I don't have my Xbone or PC hooked up at the moment but it looks like they added General Raam (bad guy from Gears of War) to KI, AND he's the free character this week.

@Kilroy , it's true! Audio is super important to KI (at least the way I play it.) So much so that there's a special audio set with UI cues for vision impaired gamers. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2016-03-29-meet-the-blind-gamer-with-a-killer-instinct

Tomorrow I go to best buy and make it very clear it was the wrong anime game.
Looks like your order got sorted by someone who put on the glasses
If you have to ask, it's already too late.
Let the anime flow through you
For real though, that mistake is hilarious.

You can crush counter with f.hp
SteamID: Baroque And Roll
Plain knee is reliable against many chars
Cr.hp has to be timed a bit early, but aa cr.hp lets you combo into lp chop, ex knee, or super
Free setups off st.lp
Early reads can net you good damage with c.hp
Metered anti air is pretty damn invulnerable and I've never seen it trade
I don't dig the costumes very much (Conan Aquaman is a fun look though) but the color palette is cool by me
Your mom is only a stage transition

give me some good news

But on the other hand, that means I got time to practice for Evo, and it's on fuckin PC CONFIRMED.
Like, I'm buying the shit out of Tekken 7 on PC and it saves me a PS4neo purchase.
Take your goddamn time Harada, I'll wait
Sure, why not, I'll give it a go. Looked pretty fun at combo breaker. I haven't paid any attention to the series since 3.

I would assume that the arcade version of Tekken 7 is no more "the finished game" than SFV was in February
