Either the tabletop area or the PC area.

The balcony was pretty cool too. You make all kinds of friends when you step out for a smoke.

I thought seeing so many people bring Magic cards was cool...even if we didn't get the amount of space MTG deserves.

I don't think I'll ever again be sitting around and hear "Hey, why don't we play a 10 player duel?"

Yeah my friends kept wanting to go eat pizza even though I wanted to check it out, then again I know of two really good hotdog places in NC, where as we have few really good pizza places and none of them topped Topolino's for NY style pizza. Maybe next year.

The Denny's was definetly the place for breakfast. Especially with the 15 dollar breakfast at the DoubleTree. The two anime stores within walking distance of the convention center blew me away, I'm used to places like that requiring an hour of travel to a neighboring city before they got out of business

As far as coolest spots I saw so many people in various areas just chilling a few were mentioned already but the hallway behind the Bawls table was basically the place for GBA linkage.

Man, that place has its own domain? I remember going in there with some locals. We had a good time. I love the sign on the wall and on the menu that reads "By 100 chilidogs and you get one small drink with a lot of ice half price!"

My 2 cents from the favorite quote thread. I'm too lazy/tired to rewrite it.

Yep! I probably go there from work at least once a week, and I'm not even that close. The chicago dog + a chili dog = Damn good lunch.

The question is should you be proud or very sad of that child's parents?

Well, as cool as I am with kids being into Penny Arcade and being geeks and all, a lot of times, their parents are the ones that "Don't understand why he killed his classmates" or "Had no idea he knew how to build a bomb or make a sawed off shotgun, he must've learned it in those filthy video games"
