The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
There were tons of things to see at PAX. My personal favs was the kid playing Virtual Boy sitting outside the console room, and the console romm during free play.
Yeah my friends kept wanting to go eat pizza even though I wanted to check it out, then again I know of two really good hotdog places in NC, where as we have few really good pizza places and none of them topped Topolino's for NY style pizza. Maybe next year.
The Denny's was definetly the place for breakfast. Especially with the 15 dollar breakfast at the DoubleTree. The two anime stores within walking distance of the convention center blew me away, I'm used to places like that requiring an hour of travel to a neighboring city before they got out of business
As far as coolest spots I saw so many people in various areas just chilling a few were mentioned already but the hallway behind the Bawls table was basically the place for GBA linkage.
Man, that place has its own domain? I remember going in there with some locals. We had a good time. I love the sign on the wall and on the menu that reads "By 100 chilidogs and you get one small drink with a lot of ice half price!"
Well, as cool as I am with kids being into Penny Arcade and being geeks and all, a lot of times, their parents are the ones that "Don't understand why he killed his classmates" or "Had no idea he knew how to build a bomb or make a sawed off shotgun, he must've learned it in those filthy video games"
Seeing a little kid probably no more then 6 years old, wearing a Fruit Fucker shirt.
The question is should you be proud or very sad of that child's parents?
Who cares? He's wearing a Fruit Fucker shirt!
You were wearing a cape, right? That rocked.
Yeah, that was me. Kyle made it for me. He roxors. :^:
I'm going to find out how to make capes sometime withint he next couple of months. I plan on having a backpack with like five or six different capes so I'll have a cap for every occasion.

I swear I'm not gay.
Are you from Seattle?
If so, it would rock to have a fellow PAX'er at out LAN parties.

Nah, I'm from Phoenix. Wish I was in Seattle, though. Seattle >>>>>>>>>>> Phoenix

The balcony was pretty cool too. You make all kinds of friends when you step out for a smoke.
I don't think I'll ever again be sitting around and hear "Hey, why don't we play a 10 player duel?"
Get the PAX 2008 Countdown widget and while away your sad, pathetic life watching it tick down the hours to PAX '08!

Yep! I probably go there from work at least once a week, and I'm not even that close. The chicago dog + a chili dog = Damn good lunch.
