These songs are an emberassing yet direct link to the part of my brain that remembers the 30 minute trip to the nearest pool while mom played top 40 radio during the summer
My favorite summer jams are all Michael Jackson songs. In particular, I really like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74SktAvsJd0

WELL THANKS YOUTUBE
I couldn't find the 1982 version of Scream on youtube, at all, which I prefer to the version he performed with Janet, though that is also fine. So I'll post my favorite non-MJ summer jam https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvtZPaVovXY
Pretty young thing is probably my favorite mj summer jam but he was very prolific at them
I just love his grittier stuff, but I'm not sure Morphine is really a summer jam. Really I can probably only name a small handful of MJ songs that I would say are below excellent. Of course after linking that Primus song I've been binging on the shit since. I had forgotten how much I love Les Claypool and his shenanigans.

Sometimes if you don't listen to a band for a real long time it can be like discovering them all over again
Last summer my summer Jam was Fuel by Metallica after having listened to them religiously in high school and then literally not hearing them again for an actual decade

It's been a minute since I've listened to oldschool Metallica. I used to get a lot of shit from my friends in high school for listening to Metallica while they all listened to the Googoo Dolls and Moby and Eagly Eye Cherry and other weird shit. Meanwhile I would just blast Ride the Lightning and Trapped Under Ice and Battery at full blast on my CD-Man.

I like that music video very very much
It's a very good video and song, so I'm not particularly upset about it. I also like the Sesame Street version.
Kinda bummed there isn't a full music video of Good Vibrations by Marky Mark up on youtube...
THIS IS A NO JUDGEMENT ZONE

DUDE I HAVE HAD TORN STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR A LONG TIME AND DIDN'T KNOW WHAT IT WAS THANK YOU.
Also:
Okay this one I 100% understand. Right down to the embarrassing nostalgic ...fondness(?).
But there's a better song called "Run Around" off my #1 Summer Jam album
You're welcome
I have no shame for my love for torn, that song rules
there can be no witnesses

Chillwave and Balearic Beat just feel so much more right when you listen to them in summer.

He looks a lot like rappin Jake sisko in the thumbnail

Oh man so much G-Funk just falls solidly into the world of summerjams. This DJ is gonna be on my mind for hours now.

I really dig this!
I've also really like Justin Timberlake's new song despite the fact that it is tied to what will almost certainly be a bad movie
It's pretty simple. Need a food processor, though. Blender might work, if it's decent quality.
also this one cannot be left out
Hey man the thread is about what YOUR summer jam is
Whatcha listen to while you're like, makin a burger when its hot out or maybe having some lemonade?
This one is always good, and more thematically appropriate IMO. Makes me wanna go out and get some sun.
But when I roll my windows down for that 2 50 air conditioning? I still like this, particularly for the ending.
Also yesterday it was this because summer is a time for seeing movies and I went to see Ghosbusters in the theater.
They are super radical.

she's good, right? it's a particular itch I didn't realize I'd had for a while that's scratched with them tunes
i only found out about her maybe a week ago, when I decided to cruise on through pitchfork for the first time in a bit
I really hope they put out another album soon.
