The first song he tests on the speakers, around 2:12.
I can hear "Yesterday...(unintelligible because he is yelling) baby, I sat home all alone"

Google and Shazam are not helping

My google fu is failing, but what I can hear of the lyrics in that clip are:

"Yesterday it was sunny outside, baby. I sat home all alone."

    "excuse my French
But fuck you — no, fuck y'all, that's as blunt as it gets"
    - Kendrick Lamar, "The Blacker the Berry"

Tried doing a lyric search and also SoundHound but nothing is coming up. It's driving me a bit crazy. It sounds like maybe they sampled an older song for the lyrics?

I wish he wasn't talking over so much of the song, I think it's messing with it. Any other music searching apps that are good?

The third comment or so is a request for song names and lists

Darude - Sandstorms or Darude Astleys - Sandroll
    And Tangerines - SLIGHT
and possibly a song called "Your Cancer" but that could just be YouTube garbage posting

Have you already checked the comments?

Ok I scoured the comments and got a song title at least

It's "Home On A Rainy Day", originally by New York Port Authority

Don't know who the artist in the clip is. But it's a cover.

“I was quick when I came in here, I’m twice as quick now”

    Okay, now we're getting somewhere.

    I found this site:
    http://www.whosampled.com/New-York-Port-Authority/
Pretty cool but... none of these songs are the one I am after. I searched for songs that sample them on YouTube and found a few similar songs but not the exact one. Apparently it's a popular song to sample. Still looking.

So I found this playlist of songs they have played before:
    Unbox Therapy Music:
And the songs made by Ours Samplus sound very similar
    https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=q0QWSdXsEcw
Pretty sure it's one of their songs but I haven't hit it yet

Ok, "Yesterday it was rainy outside, baby" makes a lot more sense if the second line is about staying home. I thought it was being deliberately ironic.

    "excuse my French

    - Kendrick Lamar, "The Blacker the Berry"

I'm 99% sure its the original New York Port Authority track sped up. The original is in Am and on that video it sounds at about C#m. If you take the original track, put it into audacity and speed it up 25.992% (to bring it from Am to C#m) it sounds very very close indeed. The thing that sounds like a guitar with effects on that kicks in on "outside" and the chimes match exactly.

I have tried finding this sped up version as well but no dice. I wish the guy just put his music in the description like everyone else...

My best guess its most likely off a mixtape/DJ set of some sort, and the speed was changed so drastically to beat match it. It might be possible to find online, but then maybe not. It could be something recorded off internet radio, or a mix that spread person to person without ever being officially released.

Like I said though, if you just want to hear the rest of the track sped up it's very easy to do. Sounds nice :)

The closest match I could dig up was some horrible stutter edit on soundcloud that doesn't deserve linking.

You'd think they'd post the songs from their YouTube channel on their SoundCloud channel of the same name? They've got a bunch up there that seemed similar in style though, if you're into that snippet in general.

(Unrelated to the first clip I mentioned)

Ok, I need help identifying a song, but I didn't want to make a thread for it because it's for a very stupid reason. Basically there's a lyric in the song that sounds like the dude's saying "lost at charades" and he repeats it over and over. I made a dumb joke to my coworker about it, but now I can't find it at all. It gets played alot on the "rock" station around here, but not anytime recently. The guy might actually be saying "love saturates" I dunno... I don't even care about the joke anymore, it's just driving me nuts that I can't remember the song... help please!
