Randy Pitchford wasted his internet good will so fast I'm surprised his mustache didn't catch fire
The Colonial Marines thing soured me on Gearbox. I mean I had that game triple pre ordered on the strength of my borderlands love and their stated love of the movie and then when reviews rolled in that it was crap on a crap cracker I cancelled my preorders and swore off gearbox, dudes got lucky with borderlands and it looks like some of that luck came from robbing peter to pay paul.
I would like some money because these are artisanal nuggets of wisdom philistine.
Aaron Diaz gets more on his Patreon because people enjoy looking at ladies backsides, especially when they can spin that enjoyment into really being something more high minded. People make fun of David Willis a lot for making porn for money, but at least he's completely honest about what he's doing (and frankly, ya prudes, there's nothing wrong with porn)

And far as I know there's not even official porn of Dresden Codak. It's just a very cheesecakey webcomic.
But I still respect that less than Willis making literal porn of his comic characters, because Willis doesn't try to bullshit and say that his work is empowering or blah blah blah.
People tend to give pretty nice slack to creators who are very honest with their audience.

Burch hasn't worked for them since Borderlands 2. Battleborn's writer was Aaron Linde who as of earlier this month also is no longer with the company.
