    Checked out tweets, they stopped the 3-day sales because people weren't actually using them for all 3 days. I just turned on notifications for tweets from @official_pax so I guess we'll see how it goes. and I set the damn thing loud to a final fantasy level up theme so I should notice it.

    There is a requirement for 3 days of passes to attend BYOC. It is convenient to get a single 3-day pass for that purpose but it just as easy to purchase 3 single day passes minus the price break that used to be offered. I have not seen any threads or mention of BYOC so was not sure if this was still being included for PAX East 2017. Perhaps someone in the organization can respond to let us know.

    According to tweets, because of the change to 3-day passes they're still working out the pricing on the single passes.

    And something unrelated.... Mass Effect Andromeda is slated to be released in March...I hope that means Bioware is going to have a large presence this year :) I LOVE that universe.

    There is no requirement for 3 days of badges to buy or use a BYOC badge. However, you do need a badge for the day(s) you plan on attending to use in conjunction with the BYOC badge...so say you only have a Friday and Saturday plus a BYOC badge you can only go to BYOC on Friday and Saturday, you can't get in to BYOC on Sunday, so you kinda lose a day at BYOC.

    I know the Westin wasn't initially part of the rooms offered through OnPeak, but didn't a small block open up about a month or so after?

    Yup, and I randomly got one.

    OK. That appears to be a change from prior years when I attended BYOC but seems more inline with the new ticketing policy.

    Thank you for that clarification.

    I don't remember, are there usually taxes on the tickets or is the price the final price?

    Very excited for PAX East 2017. I've been looking forward to it after seeing that tweet stating that tickets weren't going on sale in September. While I'm saddened at the 3 day passes being removed from the event, that won't stop most of us here, I'm sure. I do have a question though;

    My group has grown in size in the past two years. I started with 3 people two years ago, 4 people last year, and now might have 5 or 6 people this year after they saw how much fun last year was. Has there been any confirmation that 4 tickets is still the maximum that can be purchased? I coordinate the entire trip for my group so they count on me to purchase all of the tickets and if I can't do it by myself, I'll need to force someone to step up and do it.

    You may want to do a prepaid debit card for your tickets and have the billing and shipping address of friend. That way you can get paid beforehand and will be able to purchase the number of passes you need for the whole group. You will probably need two computers or computer and phone but it should help.

    The FAQ thread has been posted, so Q&A type stuff can migrate over to there. Threads for non Q&A discussion of other topics (like registration, hotels, enforcing, etc) can have their own threads. PAX is coming!
